Gift Card Catalina at Shop 'n Save

Gift Card Catalina Deal

The Gift Card Catalina deal advertised in Shop 'n Save ad is valid through 6/21/12.

If you are needing to shop one of the following retailers, purchase the gift cards and save money on your groceries. Last year, we were putting a new roof on the garage and ended up with $70 of FREE groceries because deal like this one.

Save $20 on your next shopping trip when you buy $100 in participating Gift Cards
  • Lowe's
  • Sears
  • Applebee's
  • Kohl's
  • iTunes
  • Cabela's
  • Bass Pro Shoppe
  • JCPenny
Limit (1) $20 off coupon per transaction.  Coupon issued expires one week after issuance.

Note: If you are purchasing more than a couple of gift cards, don't do multiple back to back transactions. Last year, cards were getting denied after a couple of transactions - it looked like fraudulent activity to the credit card company.  Here is some ideas to keep that from happening.
  • Put your purchases on different credit/debit cards
  • Call the Credit Card company and alert them to your planned purchases
  • Shop for you Gift Cards on different days.
  • Stop at the bank and get cash for your Gift Card purchases

  1. Has anyone bought these gift cards? Is the expiration date one week after you purchased? Last time I did this type of deal all the catalinas expired one week after the deal ended not after purchase. I am wondering if that is the case this time. Thanks in advance for your help.

  2. I bought a Sears GC yesterday and the expiration date on my $20 Catalina is 6-18.

  3. On the g.c. display today @SNS they had a pic of the gift cards and they listed Lowe's as a $50 g.c., but then they spelled out any denominations for each of the kinds of gift cards on another paper on the display. I did a $25 Lowe's and other qualifying g.c. and my catalina didn't print. I went to customer service and they gave me a SNS g.c. for $20, which is better as it won't expire. So long story but, I don't think the $25 Lowe's is supposed to work, but since they advertise all denominations they should honor it!
