    1. I was thinking the same thing! You save $2 on four cereals not two as shown in the picture :/ I think it was a misprint?

  2. Jeri, I don't think Sappington is publishing their coupon online anymore. I couldn't find it the last couple times. And they aren't dating the coupon on their ad. Think they don't like it's being used for SNS. Has anyone tried using the ad coupon?

    Thanks!

    1. I see a $5/$50 on the top of their online ad but no $10/$50. I was ready to make a SNS run, too! Bummer! :-(

    2. I just called the Maplewood store, and they said they no longer accept the Sappington coupon.

  4. I was there this morning and bought cereal but wasn't even sure if it qualified for the automatic discount. I bought four boxes of frosted toasted crunch, used two $1/2 printable coupons, and at the end of my receipt it said "General Mills $2.00 off" so it was $2 off four. Still, I paid $6 for four boxes, not too bad.

I also found in Harvester store in the beer section $5 rebate Compliments of the Busch Family on purchase of Water, Ice, Coolers or Salty Snacks. Purchase must exceed $5.

    Mail in Rebate expires 7/29/12.

  5. I did the Gift Card deal last week for a $5 gift card when you spend $10 on Kellogg's, Keebler, etc. I went to customer service and asked about it after I made my purchase. They said they knew nothing about it. She even called the manager and he didn't know anything either. They said I needed to bring an ad/online ad where it was stated. I don't have the ad. What should I do??

    1. Hi Kaitlin - How can the store you shop be so uninformed on what their store is offering? No wonder Supervalu Chain is having such financial problems.

The offer is advertised on the last page of this week's black and white ad that is on the ad stand in the stores.

If I were you, I would contact corporate and relay your experience to them. http://ems02013.egain.net/system/selfservice.controller?CONFIGURATION=1001&PARTITION_ID=1&CMD=DFAQ&DFAQ_TOPIC_ID=0&USERTYPE=1&LANGUAGE=en&COUNTRY=us

Or maybe even leave a message on their Facebook wall.

    2. For those who cant find the rebate form, you can submit your mailing info, phone number, age and SNS location where you made your purchases, on a 3x5 paper or card along with your receipt showing qualifying purchases circled to Kelloggs/Washers, Emmis Comunications, 401 S 18th St Suite 100, St Louis MO 63103. Purchase by July 21 and your rebate must be received by them by July 25. Limit one per address. Good only in MO and IL.

  6. Hi All,

If it has not been posted at the stores Please Note that the GM cereal deal is a misprint in the ad. =( When I noticed it last week I brought it to someones attention but it seems that the message did not go up the ladder. Guess next time I will start at the top of the ladder I know an error like this would have been corrected way sooner.

Jeri I agree with you on your response to Kaitlin. Part of customer service is knowing what your store has to offer and being able to follow through for the customer.

Kaitlin, if you need the Kelloggs form get ahold of me through the CouponSTL Traders I am Clippin'/Janet. I will get one to you.

Have a Great Evening to All.

  10. HI All,

I just went to my SNS in Illinois. I tried to use my $2.00 Lloyds coupons and was told by the clerk and two different managers that SNS was no longer taking internet coupons that were over $1.00. I convinced them to take them this time, mainly because I just recently used a BOGO where the item was more then $2.00.

So I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue or if it was just my SNS not wanting me to use it because of the free sides with the Lloyds.

I tried sending an email to corporate customer service but I'm not sure if it went through (I never got a confirmation).

    1. Hi Marla - How Interesting. I wonder who made up that $2 rule on printables?

SNS has coupon.com on their website and you can print the $2 Lloyd's coupon on their site.

      http://www.shopnsave.com/savings/viewcoupons?displayCount=10&criteria['searchfield']=lloyds&criteria['couponId']=&currentPageNumber=6

I would call customer service on this issue.

I have posted next weeks info. See you CouponSTL Traders there. =)

  12. Hi Marla
I shop at the SNS in Festus and I was told the same thing about $2 coupons. Apparently they have had a lot of fraudulent coupons so anything $2 or more has to be approved by management. This applies to all coupons and not just internent ones. Luckily they accepted mine.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi Marla - I can understand their concern about fraudulent coupons How long did it take them to round up a manager? People in line are for sure not going to like couponers if it takes awhile for management to get to the register.

    2. Hi Jeri,

The clerk walked away, when she came back she told me that she couldn't take it. When I asked to speak to the manager, I asked her to suspend my order so she could continue to check out other customers. When there is an issue, I try to think of the other customers. Before I started using coupons, I used to get so mad when they held up the line. The whole process took about 5 minutes.

      Delete
    3. I too am always concerned about the shoppers behind me. I usually warn them that I have a handful of coupons and it might take a minute or too longer than usual. I wonder if this is going to happen often with high-value coupons, if we should stop at Customer Service before we shop to get them ok'd.

  13. Hi All,

I spoke the SNS cust serv. They told me that as far as they knew that wasn't their policy. They are supposed to be checking with someone in there coupon department and getting back to me. As soon as I hear, I will pass this along.

    1. You're not suppose to be able to use them on gift cards.

  15. Hi All,

So here is the latest from SNS cust serv, they left me a voice mail. According to Valerie, their internet coupon policy is nothing over $5 (not $1). She said she is not sure where they came up with that. She also said, that they were not supposed to accept the $2 off Lloyds, becuase the ad specifies if you buy the ribs at $9.98 then you get the free side.

I just find it odd that both my SNS in Illinois and Cheri's in Festus had the same reasoning for not accepting them. So I guess we will just have to see what happens next time we try to use an internet coupon over $1.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thanks for the update. Why would it matter if you got the free sides. You are still paying for the ribs.

      Delete
    2. That's my take on it as well. Even the cust serv rep (Valerie) said that when she talked to the coupon department she said it shouldn't matter, because SNS gets their money back regardless. She said that the coupon department said it was double dipping basically. It is all clear a mud! She did say that they will be posting their coupon policy on their website, she's just not sure when. She said that she would call my store as well as the Festus store to let them know that the policy is $5 not $1 and that if they refuse to take an internet coupon over $1 to have the manager call cust serv.
