Schnucks - Kellogg's, Campbell's, Peter Pan + More

Sale prices May 4th - 10th

Recently, Schnucks seems to be offering more Catalina Coupon offers. This week, they're advertising an offer from Kellogg's. Their ad states, "See details in-store."

I went to the store to "see." The store I visited had no information in the cereal aisle about the Catalina. So, I went to "see" Customer Service. They were very helpful. They looked in the cereal aisle - no I didn't miss it, called corporate, and finally found a notebook with company issued memos about Catalina promotions. The memo listed the participating products, but no specific sizes.

I have included in my posting the best prices for the participating products. No guarantee they are the right sizes. I love Catlaina offers because I've saved a ton of money with Catalinas and coupons. I just wish Schnucks would have more information available on the Catalina offers.

Remember:
1. Schnucks doubles coupons .40 and less in the St. Louis area.
2. Limit of 15 coupons doubled.
3. Ask for a rain check if they are out of a sale item.
4. On a B1G1 sales you have to buy two to get the deal.
5. Items on a 10/$10 sale ring up $1 each. You don't have to buy 10.

  1. My schnucks on big bend and 141 will accept the 10/50 coupon from SNS. Do all of them do that?

  2. Wow! Great info
I don't think all Schnucks match SNS 10/50. I just called Schnucks on the Hill and they said they would match only if it was a coupon and since it's "no coupon necessary" they don't.

  3. I shopped for almost 2 hours with my 35 coupons today at the Butler Hill Schnucks, at the end of my trip my bill was $499.98 I went to submit my coupons and the lady told me that they do not accept more than 15 coupons per order. I asked since when and she just said its company policy. I told her I only had like 5 of the coupons that could be doubled and I knew there was a limit on doubled coupons, but never has anyone given me a limit on coupons in Schnucks in over 25 years. I asked her twice, asked her to talk with the manager about it, becase I will walk out on the $500 grocery trip and they will get nothing until this is cleared up and every applicable coupon I clipped is accepted. Guess the recession isnt hurting schnucks cause she said, thats fine! I told her to have fun putting the two carts stuffed full of stuff away and I will never shop there again. She really didnt seem to care, likely she doesnt really need a job either. So whats the deal is Schnucks really limiting orders to 15 coupons period?

  4. Wow, this in unbelievable, not you , but the fact the clerk wouldn't take your coupons.

I've never shopped at Butler Hill, but I have a Schnucks receipt from the Twin Oaks store from less than a month ago that I reviewed.

I purchased 44 items and used 45 coupons (several were Catalinas.) I used 10 coupons they doubled and I purchased 11 grill marinades and they accepted coupons for every one of them. The a Customer Service supervisor was the person who checked me out. She matched every coupon to the product, but she accepted every one.

I think your clerk at Butler Hill was very confused. I understand your frustration, but did you go to the customer service desk to speak to a manager or have you called Schnucks Corporate Customer Service.

I have found Schnucks is the most coupon friedly store in town. They have fewer picky rules than the other stores. I can think of a couple times I've had a minor problem with a clerk accepting my coupons and Schnucks management has always quickly resolved the issue.

Again, I understand your frustration, but I would call and speak with the store manager, if you haven't already and I would also call corporate. You can find the coroporate number on their website.

Keep me posted with your results.
