Jeri -
ReplyDeleteDo you know if you spend $60 for the Catalina promotion will you get 2 $15 Catalinas or will you only one print?
Thank you for putting this list together every week. You have really helped my family’s budget!
Thanks.
Megan
Jeri, Can I keep rolling the Catalina? Thanks for all that you do!
ReplyDeleteSara
I have the same question!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Kara
SNS didnt want to take my .35 Prairie Farms coupons today because the cashier said they looked like they were photocopies. I explained that I got them in my email directly from Prairie Farms. The manager decided they would take them afterall, but said something about not having the right bar code on it. The coupons have 2 bar codes on them, what more do they want? It's frustrating when companies issue valid internet coupons and stores dont want to take them.
ReplyDeleteThe Scott Tissue printables are for Extra Soft. Is that variety also included in the sale and the Catalina?
ReplyDeleteThanks. This is my favorite blog. You're awesome!
www.eatbetteramerica.com has a .50/1 Gold Medal flour coupon and there is a $1/1 Cottonelle 4pk or larger internet printable out as well - I don't have the address for that but you could probably google it.
ReplyDeleteI was up at a SnS store and ask if two cats would be printed during one transaction. Probably not is the answer I received at customer service. Kind of surprise someone posting over at CW hasn't email or called SnS HQ.
ReplyDeleteB3 Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats and receive a cat for a free gal. of milk (max. $3.60)
I'm referring to the B$30 deal on my previous post.
ReplyDeleteMegan & kas - A reader emailed me she had callled SNS Headquarters. She was told only one Catalina would print.
ReplyDeleteSara & Kara - I would think you could roll this Catalina. I've always been able to roll Catalinas at SNS. The only place I know you can't roll is Walgreens Register Rewards.
CJ - Stores get so use to seeing brick and coupons.com coupons they don't think the others are valid. I wish all manufacuteres would use one of the coupon printers. It would make life easier for the retailer and couponer.
Anonymous - I went to SNS to see if Scott Extra Soft is on sale for $6.98 and it is. The coupon and Cat. should work.
Kurt - I saw the Gold Medal coupon, but I don't know if the varieties listed on the coupon are on sale. (I should have checked that product also). Thanks for the info on $2 Cottonelle. I'll look for that coupon.
Did I get everyone answered? Thanks for reading, your imput and the kinds words.
Thanks for getting back to us Jeri! I appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteKara
Kara - Sorry it took to long. It was one of those evenings I just had to turn off the computer.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask, what is a catalina?
ReplyDeleteTo Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteIt is the coupon you get back at the register. You buy certain products or a certain dollar amount and it gives you a manufacture coupon back for that store. Just like cash. Jeri can be more specific. Nancy
Thanks, Nancy I could give lots more details, but I think you covered it.
ReplyDeleteSpecifics on this week's Catalina deal. Buy $30 before coupons of products listed below the Catalina deal heading, and after you have paid the cashier will not only hand you your receipt but a $15 coupon to use on your next shopping trip for almost anything in the store (excludes alcohol, tabacoo, etc.)
The coupon will expire in two week, so turn around and spend it the same day, or wait until next week shopping trip.
Besides money on your next trip coupons, you might get money off a specific product coupon, or just an advertisement from the machine that spits out coupons.
Interesting that they said it would only print once, since I was just in ShopNSave and saw a big sign stating specifically "Save up to $45 on your next order WYB $90 worth of those products" Specifically said buy $30 get $15, buy $60, get $30, buy $90 get $45. It was dated for this week and the picture was all the same items that are part of this deal so it is the same deal. Also, the Gold medal coupon is for all varieties so it should work on this deal no problem.
ReplyDeleteBecause this Thursday is a $10 off $50 would it be better to go thru line once or more or get the savings in one transaction? I just got home from work and too tire to think! Nancy
ReplyDeleteIt makes more sense to go through the line more than once to get the $10 off of $50 discounts, just make sure that each time you do, that $30 of your $50 purchase is for the participating items before coupons.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone. I wrote a new post with the information from this comment sections. I didnt' want anyone to miss the info.
ReplyDeleteJeri -
ReplyDeleteI called the SNS in Fenton and in Kirkwood and asked about the Catalina promotion. The Kirkwood tore checked with a manager and said it would work (if you purchase $60 $30 should print out). She said if it didn't just come to customer service and they would print out a second $15 catalina.
After that I called the Fenton SNS. The wonderful woman on the phone went and grabbed a product and scanned to get up to $60 and $30 of catalina's printed.
Megan
Megan - That was great customer service at Fenton. Some of the store have advertising up that says more than one Cat could print. Too bad SNS dosen't do a better job of getting this information to all of it's employees.
ReplyDeleteI have had the same problem at SNS with the Praire Farm coupons...they don't scan, but they have accepted them, sometimes a little reluctantly. I tried to e-mail/contact PF but they seemed oblivious to the "problem".
ReplyDeleteDoes the 30 dollars have to be before coupons or after coupons?
ReplyDeleteThe $30 is before coupons. It is the same thing for the $50 Thursday coupon.
ReplyDeleteMegan
Thanks Megan for answering Life as an Ems question.
ReplyDeleteUnless an offer or money off coupon has writen restrictions, I've always expierenced them as before coupons.
