Schnucks
This is why I "cherry pick". There wasn't too much at Schnucks that I wanted to buy, but I saved a ton of money on the items I did buy. When I'm only picking up four or five different items, I can get in and out of the store in about 10 minutes. It is well worth my 10 minutes when I can save this much money. Before sales & coupons: $30.74

Dierbergs
Percentagewise, I didn't save any great shakes at Deirbergs, but I picked up 18 pounds of meat. I bought one of the whole pork loin roasts and had the butcher cut it into 1" chops. My husband would have had me leave it as the full loin and put on the grill whole. Before sales & coupons: $99.91

Splurge Funds: $103.57
For those who don't read my blog on a regular basis, my splurge funds are the difference between what I've actually spent and my $50 budget. They are for those items I never find on sale or that I don't have coupons for.
I picked up an April ad for Save-a-Lot the other day.
