CVS $5 Scenario - Week of 2/05/12

You can save a ton of money rolling ECBs - spending you ECBs on products that will trigger more. Remember, CVS is nothing like shopping at Walgreens.  You can split up an ECB deal into multiple transactions, and if the ECB limit is more than one, you can roll your ECB on the same offer.

If you are following my CVS $5 Scenarios, you have a $4 ECB to start this week's shopping.

Take a look more of this week's CVS deals.

Transaction #1
purchase:
(1) Zarabee's Children's Cough Syrup $6.00
use:
ECB from last week - $4.00
= $2.00 + tax and get a $6 ECB

Transaction #2
purchase:
(6) Suave Body Wash @ $2.00 each = $12.00
use:
(2) B2G1 coupons (1/08/12 RP) - $4.00
ECB from previous transaction - $6.00
= $2.00 + tax and get a $4 ECB

Items purchased
(6) Suave Body Wash
(1) Zarabee's Cough Syrup

Retail price before sales & coupons: $24.73
Total Spent $4.00 + tax for an 84% savings
And a $4 ECB to start next week's shopping

If you didn't start with the $4 ECB, you will spend  $8.00 on this scenario - a 68% savings

    2. I actually had a $6 ECB that I used so first transaction came to $0 and then I used the $6 ECB into transaction #2 to bring the total down to $6 and the B2G1 free coupons took off the full $3 each so I paid only the tax! So $0 for everything :) Thanks again, I'll be a regular reader of your blog!

    3. Hi Linda - Love these B1G1 or B2G1 coupons at CVS lately. I'm tyring to figure out why $3. is that the regular shelf price at your store on Suave Body Wash?

    4. No, they were on sale $2, not sure what the shelf price is but the coupon states "Up to $3 off" and my CVS usually takes off the whole amount like last week with the B1G1 on the Speed Stick the coupon took off $3.99 which was the maximum allowed amount off with the coupon. Since the SS was $1.99 on sale for every coupon I used I got 2 of them totally free even before the ECB's...love CVS!!!
