On the Schnuck's General Mills Fuel Up $10 GC promotion, a catalina with a special code prints out once your participating GM items total hits $30 (so before coupons!). You go to a special website, http://www.StockUpFuelUp.com and enter the code to request your GC (should arrive my mail within 6 weeks). Great thing is the promotion limits you to 5 GC per household.

DeleteThere is a coupon on Purell's website that is $1 off of ANY 3 Purell Hand Santizing Products. Combine it with Office Max .10 deal and you get them free.
ReplyDeleteI did have a problem with the store not knowing what to do, you can only get 6 at that price. After 6 they are .49. I tried to explain to them about changing the cpn amount but they were so lost because "we've never since a cpn be more then the value of the items being purchased." They ended up giving 10 at .10 but still charged me .08 tax. Never had that happen before. Good luck!!
Hi nskcsf - Couponing at a store that doesn't see many coupons is a real adventure. But then again, sometime couponing at ANY store can be a real adventure. Thanks for the info on Purell and sharing your experience.

ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the deals/coupons aren't as good anymore? This time last year I had to stop myself from getting free razors, toothpaste, and toothbrushes because I had so many, and I never had to pay more than $1.00 for shampoo/conditioner or body wash. These days it seems like $3-4 is the norm for a razor 'deal', and I haven't seen anything other than Suave body wash for under $2 for months. I rarely even bother buying a paper anymore because it seems like the best coupons aren't even in our area. That's not to say there aren't good deals at times, it just seems like they are few and far between. Just wondering if anyone else is noticing the same or if perhaps I'm just getting burnt out on it all.

DeleteI already started paying for our toothbrushes just days ago. After Wags RRs with no coupons, I paid 99cents each. Couldn't wait anymore to get them for free since it seems like it's never going to happen soon. :(
Coupons from inserts, hardly anything useful for me from there nowadays. :I
The deals are definitely fewer and far between. Just a couple years ago I got shampoo and deodorant for free nearly every week. Now I'm happy when I can get deo for $1. Good thing I stocked up on shampoo and body wash, I still have boxfuls of those. I still get dental stuff for free most of the time but still not as often.
DeleteAldi has L'oven Oven "Sandwich Skinnys" for just $1.99. They are just like the sandwich thin buns from Sara Lee, Arnold and Pepperridge Farms that sell for $3 or more at the other grocery stores.

Schnucks has the $1.00 Scotch Brand Scissors out again. I had the $1.00 coupon in my book, lucky me! But I can't remember where I got the coupon. Looked like a tear off. Poor me.

DeleteIf you do the Fuze drink deal or GM cereal at SNS make sure your $5 and $2 comes off. I had neither work on my transaction. I had to have the cashier suppend my order and go to CS because I was holding up the line and he couldn't figure out if they came off.. They had no explanation for the GM one not working. I was told for the Fuze drinks that there were cpns on the end of the isle that you had to use. They did it for me anyway. I had $13.50 worth of errors on one order. The $1.50 happened because he didn't scan a cpn, I had questioned him on it when he was doing them. I went back in to look for the cpn thinking I could use them in the future. While I found them....its for $1.50 off 3 when you buy one bag of Synder pretzels. When you read the ad it says instant $5 off. Sure wish the emplyees knew what was going on.:(
ReplyDeleteDulcolax Powder-Schnucks-$3.08 Clearance Rack-as I cannot afford the Benefiber...Check your store for sign. Rings up as $7.00. Took to Cust. Svc: they gave me the $7 back; told me to take the Dulcolax free and apologized for not having it programmed into the system. She took the sign down but only until it is programmed. And you can put it in your coffee and no taste at all !
