    1. Yes, you should be able to. Without seeing how the Huggies coupon is worded I can' be for sure.

  2. You should be able to use them both, but then you have to buy $50 worth.

  3. Hi all, I am very very new to couponing and have a question about the extra bucks. Please excuse me as I am sure this has been addressed already but I couldn't find it. My coworker told me I could gain a lot of knowledge from the experts on this site :)

I noticed that the walgreens matchups always mention filler items but I don't usually see them for CVS. Does this mean that I don't need the filler items for CVS? For example, I buy two items, have two coupons, and three extra bucks. Will they let me use both coupons and the extra bucks or do I need to have 5 items total?

I sure hope that is clear to someone. I greatly appreciate anything I can learn from all of you. Thanks in advance. Pat

    1. You don't need filler items for CVS!

    2. Not only do you not need fillers, you can have ECBs reduced. For example, if your total is $4.99, you can use a $5 EBC and "lose" the penny. Many times I would much rather lose a few cents than buy a totally useless item.

    3. Hi Pay - You'll love shopping at CVS. So much easier than Walgreens and coupon friendly too.

I'll add to the "not only list" - ECBs are attached to rainchecks. If they've run out of a product, ask for a raincheck. When you purchase the product down the road, they will print an ECB for you.

    1. Thanks for the update, it helps me figure how I'm going to get to $50 so I can use my $10 off $50. It's still a mm at just over $2 still making it a good deal.

  5. I still had a magic coupon machine coupon for $2 off any 2 sunscreens. I used that on the Coppertone deal plus the $10 off $50. I ended up spending $15.05 and got $18 in ECB in return. Not too shabby! The cashier congratulated me...nice reprieve from claims of coupon fraud from Schnucks this week :)
