        1. Hi Chris - Yes, when this question is asked on Dierbergs' Facebook page they always say they will double/triple coupons that say not to. But, not all of their employees have gotten the message. You might want to stop and talk to Customer Service or a manager before you shop.

        1. My Perdue coupons wouldnt scan and after I left I saw the cashier manually entered them for $2 each, not $2.25. Still only paid .50 each but it irks me. Yo Crunch singles are .60, free after .25 insert coupon. I had to about crawl into the back of the cooler to get the Tru Moo, only a few left at the Brentwood store.

      3. The campbells go soup and kettle soups were $2.50 w a .75 insert coupon. If you buy the yocrunch multipacks be careful b/c the reeses pieces ones are more expensive than all the other flavors. Really messed me up at checkout. A 5 to 10 minute wait for price check. Then I was so frustrated that I didn't watch closely enough when he scanned my coupons and he missed 3 of them. I couldn't believe it. I certainly understand one, but three is terrible. Between the price check and my time at customer service it took me well over 20 minutes to check out. And they didn't even give me enough back, but I was afraid I might blow a gasket in front of my kids and figured 12 cents or so wasn't worth mentioning. Terrible customer service. Really appreciate the triples, but would appreciate some customer service.

      6. A few deals I found today:

New York croutons $1.25 ($.05 after $.40 in 9/15 SS)

      7. I NEVER hand all of my coupons over to the cashier at ONE time!! I usually hand them over in pairs of three and use the excuse that I am trying to make sure that I have matched my coupons correctly. By doing this, it allows me ample opportunity to watch and ascertain that the coupon value comes off correctly, it doesn't overwhelm the cashier and they get sloppy scanning the coupons. Too much time is dedicated to couponing to not verify that credit is given as due!! :)

        1. LOL...I had a cashier today that gave me a lecture on how you have to give the cpns to him before he starts scanning items, because he has to match the cpn to the item to make sure it doesn't triple for the wrong amount. Schnucks has their system set to not go beyond the price of the item. I'm sure occasionally one or two get by, but his attitude was SO rude and snippy. He really got my blood boiling when he told that the .40/3 Spaghettio's was not going to allowed to triple!!!!! He finally agreed that he was wrong on that one. He was so busy shelving cpns around I missed that he had missed 2 cpns and not let one triple that should have. I'm owed $4 because of his ignorant attitude and not happy about it. Until this incented I have been having an extremely easy time shopping. I know who NOT to go to next time;(

        2. I always use the self checkout at Dierbergs, less problems I use any coupons that i think might have an issue last. That way the computer makes most of the decisions. The exact opposite at schnucks, thier self checkout lanes for some reason have alot for problems and Schnucks has ( I believe puposely chosen not to fix their computers to accept the coupons as they should be. ALWAYS cashier shop.
Choose men, or not 70 year old women, no offense to senior citizens but, they don't seem to appeciate when some one isn't paying full price. I have a few male cashiers is almost every store that are my fovorite, the best is the young man that always wants to high five when i've gone from owing 50 to owing 5. He always says "I gotta' hook you up with my girlfriend so you can show her how to do that, you are awesome."

        4. I've gotten to the point, when a cashier seems to be too snippy with me, I march right over to Customer Service and ask to speak to the manager. (If I was an employee I would sure want to know how my employees were treating customers.) I've never had a manager not want to hear what I had to say.

        6. I sent an email to Schnucks yesterday about a couponer treating the cashier badly. I was behind her in line and the cashier did nothing wrong. The couponer actually lied to customer service about what happened.

      8. I found a great rebate: $5 gift card wyb8 cans of S&W beans or Chilli Man. They are on sale for 79¢. My Chobani coupons didn't double. West Pac are $1.50 (35¢ c/o). Rhoades rolls are $2 (50¢ c/o).

      15. Everyone might already know this, but a barcode is a barcode is a barcode... While inside Dierbergs tonight, I used the Schnucks app to scan products and get the price for the item at Schnucks to determine wether it was cheaper where I was at at Dierbergs or Schnucks.

      16. I think. Dierbergs in Florissant treat coupners terrible. I have heard them say really rude things about the customer using coupons. One lady with purple finger nail polish is out and out rude. Never had that problem at Schnucks in NoCo they get excited. More some then others. Never have they been rude. Annie
