We are chip dip snobs in my family. We could never find a chip dip that compared to the dip we had grown up with in Iowa - HyVee store brand. We tried everything and quit buying chip dip in St. Louis. When we visited family in Iowa we bought dip, or if they visited us they brought dip. A cooler full of dip. Yes, we transported chip dip across state lines - even my mother.
