My advice to newbies is to not only read deal/coupon blogs, but read the comments too. You will find a wealth of information not on blogs themselves.
Comment sections are sometimes a little hard to find. Comments on Coupon STL are at the bottom of the post. The above graphic shows you where to look.
Here is some of the information you'll find in comments
- Questions asked and answered
- Shoppers experiences - what worked for them, or not
- Additional deal info
- Sharing of shopping plans
- A community of people working together helping other couponers
Yes! It also helps me to learn quickly when a deal has died or if there is any fine print I didn't catch.
ReplyDeletealso offers suggestions for variations on the deal where applicable.

ReplyDeleteI agree with this. You should also always read the comments/reviews on recipes, no matter the site! Half the time, I adjust the recipe based on the comments/reviews.
ReplyDeleteI agree-I always read the comments and find them very helpful.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Jeri.

ReplyDeleteI'm always surprised when I talk to people I know read deal/coupon blog and they tell me they don't read comments. To me comments are the best part of any blog.
