Six Coupon Inserts in 5/1/11 Post-Dispatch

Yes, six coupon insert  in this Sunday's St Louis Post-Dispatch  - (2) SmartSource,  (1) RedPlum, (1) P&G, (1) Moments to Save (Pepsico product), and (1) Target  + a coupon in Parade Magazine.

$10 off $50 at Shop 'n Save this week.

I sent Hubby out this morning to pick up a paper for me. He picked up a paper at two places (in different zip code but close to each other) and both had only five of the inserts.  One was short a RedPlum and the other a Target.  Possibly not all inserts will be in all papers, depending on location.

Here are my favorite coupons in the Post-Dispatch.

P&G

  • $2/1 Tampax Pearl

Target  - $160 of P&G Target store coupons
  • $1.50/2 Pantene Hair Care Items
  • $1/1 Old Spice or Gillette Deodorant
  • $1/1 Old Spice or Gillette Body Wash
  • $1/1 Iams Pet Food
Parade Magazine
  • $1/2 Wonderful Pisachios

Remember: You want multiple coupons to use when a product is at a rock bottom price.  I purchase 3 to 6  papers every week. At first, I thought it was crazy to spend money to save money. But I've always saved much more than my investment.

Sam's Club is still selling the Sunday Post-Dispatch at a reduced price, $1.50. Dollar Tree and DEAL$ no longer sell the paper.

  2. Hi! I have been following the site lately, but have been wondering something -- how are you able to get a paper one day early?

  3. Hi Lynda - Things done around the house? I'm not sure my house would know what that meant :)

Hi Anonymous - The early edition of the Sunday paper is on newsstands on Saturday morning.

  4. Most gas stations and grocery stores have the Early Sunday Edition. I also get the sales circulars and inserts from the sunday paper delivered on Saturday.

  7. My daughter picked up a paper at the gas station yesterday and all 6 of the inserts were there. And if you are wondering why I am up so early, I am taking care of my daughter's 2 month old son and he doesn't sleep all night.... yet. But I will get an early start with him in tote. Can't start them to young couponing!!
