Happy Shopping!
Does anyone know where to get vitamin water coupons? Or do they come in the paper inserts often or certain times of they year? We drink vitamin water religiously and I'd like to get some good deals on it. I saw on the coupon show that was one things everyone was always getting for cheap or free. Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHi - You can save a ton of money couponing, but don't believe everything you see on Extreme Couponing. There are a lot of shenanigans going on with some of the people on the show and it was tapped months ago.
DeleteYou will probably only see Vitamin Water coupons in the spring or summer - maybe right after the first of the year when the "healthy" food coupons come out.
You're best to watch for it on sale and stock up. Its' on sale this week at Schucks for $1
I was jealous watching those people on the show buying cart full of vitamin water for free, but I learned not to believe the show. Whole foods had a vitamin water store coupon over the summer and when the water was in sale for $1, I bought a case (24 bottles) and got 10% discount plus the coupon, in the end I paid 40 cents per bottle. And yeah, Stacy is right, it has lots of calories and sugar. I like to have some for when we go to the zoo or hiking or biking. Keeps the kids moving......
DeleteIf I correctly remember, Dierberg 's and /or SNS had some vitamin water special a couple of months ago: buy 10 bottles and save instant $5 or something similar.
I did get a bunch of Vitamin Water free a few years ago, but gave it away when I realized how many calories is in a bottle. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yea I figured it was kinda fake on the show but still fun to watch! And $1 is kinda expensive still for one bottle. I actually get the 6 packs at Walmart for $4.28. And I agree with the calories I don't drink it but everyone else does. I figured the beginning of the year would be a good time to look for coupons because I did read that that is when the healthy food coupons come out. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteWhile at Petco today I learned that they price match. I told them that SNS often has Friskies cans for .50 each and they price matched my 30 cans and got $3 off! Also got $1.71 off with my 10% Petco coupon and got $1.70 overage on a free cat treats tearpad coupon that rang up for the full value printed on the coupon. I'll shop at Petco more now that I know they price match. They also occasionally mail me coupons and I like that they have a donation bin for the Pet Pantry (I donated the cat treats).
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - Thanks for the price match info. I didn't know they did that.
DeleteNever know where to make these types of comments. Could be Dierbergs. However, the coupon could be for any store, so this more generic placement seems better.
ReplyDeleteStopped by Dierbergs today and checked out their black and white ad. There are two coupons I think are worth saving.
$5 when you buy 5 ConAgra products
Healthy Choice:
100% Natural Entrees
Modern Classics
Traditional Classics
Select Entrees
Steaming Entrees
Greek Frozen Yogurt 3 pack
Baked Entrees
Cafe Steamers
Marie Callender's Pies 28-46 oz.
PAM No Stick Cooking Spray 5-6 oz.
Peter Pan Peanut Butter 16.3 oz.
Wesson Oil 48 oz.
Expires 12/08/12
Second coupon:
FREE pasta (up to $1.25) with purchase of any 2 Ragu Pasta Sauce products
Expires 12/31/12
These are manufacturer coupons so they can be used at any grocery store. These products go on sale or have Catalina deals occasionally, so a coupon you might want to add to your supply.
Thanks a Million KC. Looks like I might have to make a run to Dierbergs this week. =)
DeleteThanks, KC!
DeleteBoth offers were mentioned in this week's ad, but on the ConAgra products it just said Buy 5 save $5, so it looked like Instant Savings. I'll update my Dierbergs Post.
New coupons on coupons.com - 1.05/2 Nestle Heritage Tins - 1.00/2 Nestle Butterfingets or Jingle Crunch bags - under zip code 12345
