Dierbergs Web Only Coupons for February 5 - 11, 2013
Dierbergs has changed their Web Only coupon to a single coupon from the previous four a week.
Web Only coupons are available via email when you sign up for Dierbergs newsletter. This week, you can also find them on Dierbergs Facebook page.
Minimum $10 purchase requirement. Limit one coupon per customer.
- Free pint Mashed Potatoes & 1/2 pint Gravy wyb 8 piece Fried Chicken from the Deli
In my opinion, dierbergs is having a hard time catching on to the "virtual" couponing. Everytime I go I have a problem with something or a cashier is not trained correctly. And I am reminded each time why I don't watch for deals with them. Anyone else seem to be frustrated when they leave?

9 out of 10 times I walk out frustrated.I agree they are not giving their cashier the info that they need.Unless it's free I try to avoid going there anymore. What I have noticed it that the younger cashiers are easier to check out with. The older ones - I have actually heard complaining about them.
DeleteHi Mindy - I understand your frustration.
DeleteI tend to pick my cashiers very carefully. There are some I absolutely won't check out with. I've heard others say they will only do the self check registers.
Mindy & nskcsf - Which stores do you shop at?
ReplyDeleteDuring this last round of double coupons I had no problems at all with Dierbergs cashiers (other than the one who called over a manger because she said "most printed coupons are fake" - I ignored her comment!). But I had lots of problems at Schnucks. Overall I've had very few coupon problems at Dierbergs in the past year. Yay for the Warson Woods store :)
ReplyDeleteI shop at Fenton's Dierberg's and they did a very nice thing for me in the last triple coupon deal a few weeks ago. I shopped on Sunday and spent an hour getting my coupon items. When I checked out, the clerk said the triple coupon had ended the day before. I blew it and spent all that time getting my coupon item. I checked with the customer service people and they said the same thing. A manager heard me and he said he'd be glad to check me out personally and give me the triple coupons! he didn't punish me for my stupidity. Go do Fenton's Dierbergs; they are nice people.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's a great manager. They went above and beyond for you on this one.
DeleteI feel the same way about Dierbergs which is why I rarely go there anymore. I prefer Schnucks and they are much more coupon friendly. A friend of mine's son works at Dierberg's and is clueless about coupons, and he's a cashier!
ReplyDeleteMy dierbergs is very good (west oak). I rarely have issues. On occasions that I do, for example a buy $x get $x off instantly sometimes goof up - I think usually this is just the item I buy just being the one thing that didn't get coded into the sale - managers always fix the problem without problems for me. I do shop there a lot and all the cashiers know me, so that may help
ReplyDeleteI have shopped at the Hwy 79 (st peters) and the Mid Rivers Location (St Charles), both seem to have issues. I have had managers call my coupons fake (I promise if I had time to make fake one's I wouldn't be making 50 cent q's...they would be for FREE one's) and the issue if they don't scan I have to go to a manager for over-ride or to the customer counter for refund. Just frustrating to want to come in, just to leave with a headache and "10$ worth of groceries to get a deal". Off my soap box...I am just glad to see it's not just me! :0)
