I had never heard of Comic Con until I watched the Big Bang Theory.  I suppose that TV show has opened up Comic Con to a whole new audience.

On Friday, comics legend Stan Lee will meet to discuss his latest work with Marvel's films and his sources of inspiration for Spider-Man, and WWE superstar Randy Orton, who will only be appearing at the convention on Friday, will take a break from wrestling to shake hands with his hometown fans.
