My CVS has been out of the Brookside candy for several weeks, they said the warehouse is completely out too. Hope they get some in this week.
ReplyDeleteJust bought 2 bags today at my CVS. They had all 3 flavors and the shelf was fully stocked. However last week they had none. You might want to check your store again, maybe they got a shipment after you were there. I used the $2.50 CVS cpn and the $1 man cpn for an overage of .50x2:) Had a great shopping trip today saved almost $80 spent $1.55 oop but walked out with $9 in ECB and still have my Clear $4.99 cpn and a $1.50 reward that printed today. I couldn't use them because of the 20% cpn and overages I got on other items($8.77). Plus they are holding 15 boxes of Kleenex for me to buy tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHi nskcsf - Great shopping!
Deletenskcsf, What CVS had the Brookside candy?? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJudy
The one in Maplewood on Manchester also had them too.
DeleteCarrie - Thanks, I got 2 bags at the Maplewood store, $1 overage with stacked coupons. They didnt have any of the trial size Brookside. They offered to take .67 off of a large bag but I was already getting overage so declined that. Forgot my Stride coupon, I'll have to go back. Also the coupon machine is giving $1 coupons on Xtra laundry detergent, makes the small bottle just .99.
DeleteHas anyone found the 100 ct CVS alcohol pads that had the free coupon on cvs.com? The Maplewood store had 120ct boxes but they didnt match the picture and they were half empty, apparently someone helped themselves to a handful.
The 100 ct alcohol pads are with the diabetic supplies. My store was out though and they gave me the 120ct, located with first aid supplies, for free.
DeleteCJ - The Maplewood store manager allowed me to use the coupon on the 120 ct since they didn't have any of the 100 ct. I go to this store every Sunday morning and the managers there are super nice about coupons. Love them!
DeleteCarrie - Thanks, I'll try to find a box that hasnt been rifled through.
DeleteThe Ellisville location. They still had a shelf full yesterday afternoon.
ReplyDeleteyou gotta love CVS....I did the Kleenex deal and also added in 3 packs of paper towels...multiple physicians formula....figured it out, that If you buy 5 at about $8.40/item...gives about $12 to pay after the $6 each comes off...used 5 -$1mqs and also a -$4/12 as the cost was $12 after the card discounts....so its like $3 for $45 of make up. Had 6 of the -$2 Qs for the Kleenex...Glade, trident, venus...you know the coupons for those. I saved $105 and only spent $4 (and omg, yes I forgot to hand over the -$3 venus coupon...ARRRrrrh...it should have only been $1!). I love CVS. If you don't coupon there, you need to. I've met alot of new couponers because of the super events at Schnucks and Dierbergs...but in between the events they are not learning the other stores. Really, CVS is the best and I never miss a week. Not to mention at Target the Easter candy is 50% off....there are coupons that you can use that are linked on totallytarget.com....in the clearance story. I got 6 bags of mini peanut butter snickers for 0.59 each....and 12 bags of coconut m&ms for less that a buck. My husband and his friends are really excited for all the candy couponing. Target will have the candy go 75% next, but I usually get it real cheap when there is selection....then I may think about it later if there is anything left....Also they had bags of Haribo gummy bunnies that were only 0.50 cents after discount :)
ReplyDeleteI could not believe what I saw today at CVS. Two men with a cart full of things: 15+ Poise, 10+ alcohol pads, 10+ energy drinks of some kind, etc. And also a full binder of coupons and a stack of printable coupons. I only wanted one box of alcohol pads but I was one minute too late to get it. But I did get my chocolate and 50 cents overage.
ReplyDeleteWow, you should talk to the manager at that store. Tell them what happened and you are disappointed they allow a couple of people to clear the shelves. This type of thing won't stop if the managers don't know it is happening or that it is upsetting other customers.
DeleteI don't know... I hate when I get to a store only to find the deal I want is cleared out, but its all part of the game. I don't totally clear shelves, but I do get multiples, and if it is an item that I'm in desperate need of, I will get as many as I have coupons for the deal that I've planned. I work very hard and spend a LOT of time planning and researching, so when it works out its great and when it doesn't....I move on. Usually I can work it out another time and at another store before the coupon expires. I don't think 10+ energy drinks is allot...esp. if you drink them every day. The poise, while strange...again, no big deal. Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens all have similar deals and prices for that item. The last time the poise coupon came out, I had to wait untill all the stores restocked as couponers "cleared the shelves". Again....it happens, and is all a part of the couponing cycle. I was still able to use all my poise coupons and ...wait...what?....this past insert had the same poise coupon!...all a part of the cycle. Dont sweat it. There are plenty of deals and stores to go around, especially in the Stl market. Again...I miss out on deals to0, but for all the great ones and come across, I have to say...GOOD for them and GOOD for someone else!....Not to mention, I pride myself in getting to the store as soon as it opens on the day I want the sale and deal. I don't like getting up at 6am on my Saturday or Sunday and one of the only 2 days of the week I would get to sleep in...but to each their own...if the deal is important enough to me, I just go and be the first one there. If your going to be a long time couponer, get used to it...you are always going to run into those times when you are all excited only to find an empty shelf.
DeleteWell said!
