  1. Sweet....I didn't know CVS does this, because they just opened in march of last year here in St. Charles...but I received a yearly statement in the mail...showing all my savings and what category the discounts came from...they broke down MQs, Store Qs, ECBs, store discounts and % off Qs...It was pretty cool. Needless to say in one year I saved $1600.00 at CVS. I hardly ever spend out of pocket when I'm there except out of my change purse to cover that little bit left over from ECBs....I think this year should have even more savings because I don't have the learning curve now.

Best part is...it came with a -25% coupon good for this weekend. I just had to post, I LOVE CVS :)

  3. Hi All - Yes, CVS is amazing. It is so fun to coupon at a store with great deals and coupon friendly employees.

    1. Is it really and still true that they now accept expired CVS EBs and expired CVS coupons? My very friendly, nice & helpful cashier from a couple of weeks ago told me this. Wish I can get a written policy about this. I kind of got hesitant to ask one from her when I was there. Didn't want to hurt her feelings that I couldn't trust her words alone. I have a $5 EB expiring today and I don't have anything I really like to spend it on from this week's ad plus am working a bit late tonight.

    2. I have been told by several CVS cashiers that there is no true expiration date for ECBs. I have had luck with using expired CVS coupons, as long as they aren't too expired (about a month.) I have found using expired CVS coupons also depends upon the cashier. Some are much "nicer" about it than others.

    3. My CVS does the same thing. As long as their not too old they will except them. They do have to manually put them in. My CVS is wonderful. I have yet to have a cashier that was rude. Their always so cheerful and accomidating.

    4. I saw a sign for a new CVS that is coming soon on Lindell. So excited that there will be a CVS on my street so I can completely boycott that Walgreens thanks to the extremely rude employees and managers. Hopefully CVS has higher standards when they hire the staff.

    5. A new CVS is also planned for McKnight/Manchester, probably 2 years away though.

    6. From what I know, if CVS accepts expired ECB's depends on the store. But, if you have an expired ECB it doesn't hurt to ask.

City Shopper - I've been waiting for the new CVS on Lindell for several years. They originally wanted to buy an empty building on the southwest corner or Sara & Lindell, but the neighbors pitched a fit. (I'm sure Wags and maybe Schnucks had something to say about that) Then, they bought the round building, but preservationist pitched a fit. From what I've heard, a spot on LIndell was in their plans from the very beginning.

  4. This week if you spend $10 on Sally hansel products, you get $5 EB. I bought 2 nail polishes ($5.49 at my cvs), used 2 $4 coupons from this week's Red Plum insert and made $2 after EB.

    1. Thanks! I completely overlooked the $4 Sally Hansen coupon. You can tell I'm not much of a nail person.

    2. I bought two $4.99 nail polishes for an even better deal.

  5. When I was in line at my St Charles CVS last Sunday, the lady in front of me didn't have an Extra care card and was telling the cashier she didn't want one and that she only ran in this one time to grab something....The Manager was the one ringing her out and said...."Are you sure you don't want one? We are getting ready to open a few more locations around here soon".

I REALLY HOPE SO!!! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME !!!!!!

    1. I was told when CVS first moved to town that they had plans to have as many stores as Walgreens. It sure seems to be taking time, but I guess Wags didn't get to be the size they are overnight either.

    2. Wish they would open one in Florissant soon. I haven't shopped CVS yet, but it looks like they have some great deals. However, it's not worth it when the closed one is over a half hour away!

    3. Hi Marina - I checked CVS's store locator and they list a store at 6999 Parker Rod. Florrisant. Is it not open yet, or not very close to where you live?

  6. There's a $2 coupon on Eucerin's site: http://news.eucerin.us/click/view.asp?id=BE8CG-VNYNA--BP

The hand lotions start at $4.79 I did this:

    3 Eucerin Hand Cream = 4.79x3= $14.37
    1 Eucerin Intensive Hand Cream = $5.49
    Total=19.98 - $8 (4x$2 IP coupons) = 11.98 plus $10 ECB back

If you happen to get a 20% email coupon this week, it will be a money maker!
