  1. I don't have any pictures but I spent $43.49 on $497.80 of food 92% savings. It includes 1/2 a ham, several packs of bacon and sausage. I also got chips, veggies, ice cream, snapple, cookies, candy, Crisco, Lloyd's BBQ singles, Dr Pepper 20oz bottles, wet ones, crackers, sunbelt products, cereal, soy sauce, tobasco sauce, brilla pasta sauce, bread and buns, franks hot sauce curad bandaids, gummy bears, fruit snacks, ortega shells and taco mix.

I have done this over the course of the week. Still plan on a few more trips before the end of the sale. With graduation parties and end of the school year events the triple cpns couldn't have hit at a better time!!! Couponing has not been this fun in a while:)

I also found a few really good cpns in the stores-one being $1.50 off beef when you buy 2 bags of synders chips.

  2. Great Job, Missy & nskcsf! I've made a total of 11 trips over the course of the week (to 7 different stores and only one trip per day to any individual store... I'm lucky that I have so many Schnucks & Dierbergs so close to both work & home:) I've spent about $43.47 for $293.92 of food at an 86% savings. Found AWESOME deals on soy milk, special K snack chips, Greek Yogurt, Soy yogurt, Boca and Dr Pepper Ten (a st charles store had coupons at the register and actually promoted them giving every customer three free 2 liters! I love coupon friendly stores like that:) And of course who doesn't like free Honey Wheat bread and free Welch's Light Grape juice ! I'm running out of room in my stockpile closet, but I still have at least 5 more trips planned. With my hubby out of work for over a year and a half, these super couponing events have really helped keep our budget intact. It's so nice not to worry about meals for the family since my income only just covers our bills and leaves so little for food & gas.
A funny story.... when I refinanced my house to get a lower payment, I had to tell them how much I spent on groceries and the woman insisted I should go to the STL Foodbank! I told her thanks but no thanks, and that the reason my grocery budget was so low was because I coupon. And she said, "Like the ones on TV?"

Have to say all but one cashier has been fantastic. I picked the wrong cashier at Dierbergs once this week. She was definitely a coupon "gestapo". But I always follow the couponing rules and try as she might...she could find anything to deny on my 15 coupons. But check out took over half an hour since she had to check every item in my bag AND match it to the screen AND calculate exactly the discount. Very annoying woman. But I smiled and wished her a great day cause I feel SORRY for people like that!

    1. Good for you on your shopping. I COMPLETELY understand the not having money for anything. We have been struggling for 4-5 yrs now because my husband is self employed in the construction field. I work full time. We have had to really find creative ways to make ends meet(the triple and double cpns have made a HUGE difference). Sometimes we have failed in very important places. Thank God our children have been understanding and true troopers through it all. We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but it is with a huge lose to us in so many ways starting with our house. I know there are many other families in the same position, it's been a tough few years with our horrible economic times. Good luck to you and your family and to anyone else struggling:)
