  1. At Cvs, coupon machine gave me a $10 off of $30 summer products coupon, there is $10 ECB on $30 summer furniture including flotation devices, and I had an email $5 off of $30. Made for some cheap pool floats

    1. Woo Hoo! That combo would make for a great deal.

    2. Did they let you use all three coupons together? Technically you have to purchase $60 before coupons to use the $10/$30 and the $5/$30 in the same transaction.

    3. I have done the same thing with cpns in the past. I have never had a problem. My cpn for the $10/$30 summer products did not print the soft soap didn't either. The manager told me to try the next time I was in cuz I wasn't planning on using it yesterday anyway. If they don't print the next time he said that they would take care of it. I used the $2/2 Pantene cpns(from coupons.com) with the B1G1 cpn, which rang up $4.99. I got 8 bottles of Pantene, 2 Dawn and 3 Puffs. Spent $1.30 oop:)

    4. The $10/$30 scanner coupon has a limit of 1 $xx/$xx type coupon per transaction, so I don't believe you can use both.

    5. I have used $10/$50 and $5/$20 or similiar cpns together mutliple times. It's never caused a problem at check out. Maybe it has to do with one is from the cpn machine and the other is an emailed one. I have been able to put together some great deals with them.

    6. Although it may not beep at the register, ethically, you shouldn't be combining the coupons together if there is an exclusion written. IMHO.

  2. Carrie, I get waht your saying. At the store that I shop at they are pretty careful about how cpns are used together. I feel pretty confident that if they weren't able to be used together that they would say something. I missed wording one time on a cpn and they very nicely explained why they couldn't use it. I really think it has to do with 1 being from the machine and 1 from an email or it is on different kinds of items. When I go in tomorrow I'm going to ask. I'll let you know what they say.

    1. Nskcsf, I also get what you are saying. I love CVS couponing, but they are sooooo coupon friendly, they surprise me sometimes. My CVS also takes more than 1 $xx off $xx at times. Also, they take expired coupons at times. Not that I purposely use thoses, but I accidentally had an expired Manuf. Coupon and when I was handing it over it beeped and I looked and was sooo embarrased and appologized and tried to take it back and said its fine, I'm sorry I didn't realize. The lady checking me out was a manager and said "Oh no, its ok this time I'll accept it....and she pushed it thru ? Ive called corporate and asked about using a Manufacturer B1G1 coupon and also using a manufacturer $xx off coupon on onc of the same items and they actually told me it was fine (I don't know any other stores that allow this). I really do get shocked by how coupon friendly they are. I 100% agree with Carrie about ethics and I know you do too having been couponing for so long....but CVS is a little diff than other stores. When you have manager there accepting all and anything, I have to say I do not think you did anything wrong. I think at times you have to chalk it up to how the manager is choosing to run their store. Corporate also told me that CVS is very coupon friendly and unless you happen to get a loss prevention store in a high theft area, they are going to be more coupon friendly than competitors. Just another opinion to add to the mix.

  3. I am not sure if anyone seen my post about knowing what the prices are in the store before you go shopping. How do you find out? I went over my budget one day because I did not know prior to shopping how much they were so it made it hard to stay within budget. Please help! : )

    1. You must have missed Jeri's response, anyway....Schnucks has an app that you can use to get pricing. Dierberg's and SNS do not. If you want to know prices before you actually shop you have to go and do price checking. For Wags and CVS you can check some items on line but not all the items in store are sold on line and there are a lot of times that the price in store is different. Bottom line to really be super acturate you have to do some foot work before shopping.

  4. Hi All - CVS is very coupon friendly. Different store might gladly accept a combo of coupons and others not. I agree that managers might run their stores differently. I'm not condoning using coupon incorrectly, but it is up to every store manager how they interpret the rules. Except for CVS it usually isn't in the couponers favor.

nskcsf - I'll be anxious to hear what the manager at your CVS says.
