ReplyDeleteYou need to read up on your Schnucks coupon policy!!!! When it is BOGO Free the free item does not go towards the count.

DeleteWhat I like about this site is how hard Jeri works to find bargains for all of us. I also find most everybody kind. We all make mistakes. Jeri makes very few, but if she does I find her gracious about it. In my opinion, four exclamation points are not needed for your comment.

ReplyDeleteI also did used this and got free Twix. I get really irritated when someone is very rude on here but doesn't have the nerve to at least put a name. Mine comes up as Anonymous but I always put my name. Jeri is a doll for doing this and I am very grateful for this blog and all the money I save. Renee
ReplyDeleteRenee, I don't believe she was being rude just honest. I am a couponer and do depend on great deals to feed my family. However, when policies are broken to give us a better deal, it actually hurts everyone. Being honest and not abusing the system will insure that all of us continue to get good deals. Actually...you are the rude one for commenting on such nonsense.

DeleteI, for one, have been able on most occasions to use "save on 2" coupons for BOGO Free items. It worked for me twice last week, and then on Sunday when I tried with the Twix coupon, the cashier would not accept it. Their policy states that an additional coupon cannot be used on the free item. When it is a coupon for "save on 2", that's not an additional coupon. And, you are, in fact, getting 2. I think it depends a lot on how the cashier interprets the coupon. Now, if it says "when you buy 2", you technically aren't "buying" 2, since the receipt (at least at my Schnucks) rings them up at $1 for the first and "FREE" for the second. I don't think anyone is trying to abuse the system. The coupon policy is just written in a way that is open to various interpretations.

There is nothing going against coupon policies here.
When you check Schuncks app it says 2/$1. Using a coupon is not breaking the coupon policy. I have done this deal several times this week with the prontable cpn, a man cpn that was B1G1 and a man cpn that was .50/2. The last 2 were on displays at different times and I hung on to them waiting for a good deal. I have not had a problem at all. Jeri- thanks for all the hard work you do. Having kids getting ready for college and just general life takes alot of time. You putting time into helping others is more then appreciated by more families then you know.
