Schnucks Triples Coupons - August 21 - 27, 2013
I'm posting this early because on Tuesday I start my "Collage Grand Tour."
I'm dropping off my youngest in Ames at Iowas State, heading to Minneapolis to pick up the oldest (and as much as his stuff that will fit in the mini van,) back through Ames to have brunch/lunch with both kids and then heading to California - oldest is going to grad school at Cal Berkeley.
Five hours drive time to Ames, 2 hours to my parents in northwest Iowa (I'm spending the night,) 4 hours to Minneapolis, 32 hours of driving from Minneapolis to San Francisco and another 32 hours home.
If I have some time in the evenings I'll post some Schnucks Super Triple Price Checks, but if you find good deals, please leave the info in comments.
Thanks We Use Coupon for posting the ad.

DeleteAt the Kirkwood Schnucks they are usually on an end cap near the other t.p. but they arent there every week. They seem to be there when I dont have a coupon, and not there when I do have one!

DeletePrice check please! In the 7/14SS there's a .75 coupon for Betty Crocker Ultimate Hamburger Helper. If you can check the price and share, I'd appreciate it.
ReplyDeletethey are 10 for 10 at the moment.
DeleteHi Liz
DeleteI just returned from price cking and the Ultimates are running $2.50 ea
don't know which type but there were some on clearance for $1 at my store in Columbia.al
DeleteBrentwood had some on clearance for $1, others (like Ultimate stroganoff) were 2.50.
DeleteIf I have 3 Cheerios printables and 1 from an insert, does Schnucks count that as 4 "like" coupons because they are all Cheerios, or 3 "like" coupons because all 4 arent totally identical?
ReplyDeleteI've used 3 printable and 3 inserts before on one transaction without any issue. I see them as different coupons. Hopefully you don't run into any issues.
DeleteJust a warning about the General Mills cereals -- my coupons for yellow box cheerios did not triple on two different trips last time. Keep an eye on those when you check out!
ReplyDeleteCheck fine print some of my cheerios said "Do not double" Some where fine.
DeleteDoes anyone remember from the last time, how many GM cereal boxes could be bought on the same order & still get the instant $4 off for every 4 boxes?
ReplyDeleteI bought 8 before with store and mfg discount taken on all. as long as no limit stated on ad. al
Deletedoes anyone know if the Cape Girardeau Schnucks has a limit to how many coupons they will triple? It doesn't state on the website, it just says 3 like coupons for each type of item.
ReplyDeleteIn Cape the limit is 20.
DeleteIt's usually 15
ReplyDeleteWho's going to update the list tomorrow morning?
ReplyDeleteDo you only use one coupon and it triples or do you have to have three of the same coupons to go toward the one product?
ReplyDeleteYou only use one coupon and it triples at the register. My sister asked me the same question the first time I took her shopping. LOL
DeleteI just got done shopping my triple coupons at 1am this morning and these where the items I was able to get for free. Arm and Hammer toothpaste, Frenches mustard, Dukes mayo, and Kikkoman soy sauce. Oh and I got these at Schnucks.
ReplyDeleteI'm frustrated that the Dorsett store had not changed over to the new ad as of 2 am. I had to put everything back. I didn't want the hassle of going to Customer Service tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain! That store is always a let down... never has what you want when you need it and "we're getting some in tomorrow", in my experience, is never true when they tell you that.
DeleteDear Dorsett Shopper,
ReplyDeleteI am an overnight worker for Schuncks and at midnight at my store I put the new ad into effect at midnight. I know at my store all the departments except for grocery wait to be put up until 5am or 6am. Our grocery department starts putting up the new tags at midnight. Hopefully they do that at the other stores too and you can always have the checker do a price check on an item before it is rung up also and if it is wrong they they should fix it right then and there. And if there is an old tag up I always honor it for the customer. I'm sorry you had a bad experience tonight and I hope you come back even though its not my store.
Wetones wipes were on sale for $2.00 and there is a .75 printable coupon that makes them free.
ReplyDeleteStopped at Schnucks after taking my husband to the airport this morning. Got cereal, salad dressing, fruit bowls, and cheap Twix and Dove candy bars. Sale tags hadn't been reset, but the cereals were all the smaller size boxes. Liked like all varieties of Fiber One were included. The register would only do one cereal deal at a time, so I did separate transactions. Watch your cereal coupons- a few didn't triple and had to be keyed in. I ended up getting money back on one transaction because of the overage from those keyed in coupons!
ReplyDeleteShopped at the Collinsville, IL store & bought 12 boxes of GM cereal in one transaction & got the $12 instant savings with no problem. I asked first if there was limit & the checkout person said "no" (the ad does not say there's a limit either).
ReplyDeleteWatch out for the Totino Pizza and Pizza Roll coupons. They only tripled up to the cost of one item when the coupon was off of three items. Customer service did take care of it. For those who use Ibotta, I spoke with the manager at the Arnold store and told her how much more I would shop at Schnucks if they would participate with Ibotta. She said to keep emailing and facebooking indicating how much we want them to participate.
ReplyDeleteGlade spray is $1.49 and there is a $.50 coupon=free.
You have to buy (3) before you can even use the coupon. Not triple off each item. Only triple off the purchase of (3) total.
DeleteI did buy in multiples of 3 for each coupon but the coupon only tripled up to the price of one instead of the full triple price. For example I bought 3 pizza rolls for $3.75 and had one coupon for $.75 off of three. It should have tripled to $2.25 but only tripled to $1.25 the price of one. Customer service did fix that and say it should have fully triple because I did buy three products for each coupon. I just wanted to let others know to watch out for Totino's coupons as I did have a refund of $3.65 for what I had bought.
DeleteCan you shop at two different Schnuck's stores in the same day and and use 15 coupons at each?
ReplyDeleteI personally think so since it's different store. That's nice of you to go about doing it this way instead of going back to the store later. I'm debating whether I should (same store) since I'm doing this for the Food Pantry...but still don't want to make a bad impression for couponers.
DeleteThe Schnucks by me will allow you 2 transactions, but ask that you leave the store and come back in.
DeleteI went to the schnucks on Dorsett. The cashier had to manually triple some of the coupons. Thankfully he knew about it in advance and was very patient!
ReplyDeleteWill know what to expect later! Thanks!
DeleteDorsett @ 7PM, they had to manually enter about 1/2 of my coupons. It wasn't too busy and the clerk was very nice and the guys behind me were deep in conversation anyway and didn't seem to mind.
DeleteAlso, there were plenty of products on the shelves. Oh except for Nature's Own bread, I got the last one.
Kathi,
ReplyDeleteYou have to buy (3) before you can even use the coupon. Not triple off each item. Only triple off the purchase of (3) total.
I think what Kathi is saying is that when you purhase 3 boxes of the Totino's the .75/3 coupon is only "tripling" to $1.25 (the cost of one box) rather than to $2.25 like it should. I've run into the same problem at Schnucks in the past.
DeleteThanks...that was exactly what I was saying. I just wanted to let everyone know to watch out for that problem. That $1 mistake can buy a lot of groceries this week!:)
DeleteI'm confused. Even if this wasn't a triple event, you would only receive .75 off the purchase of (3), not $1.25 off all (3).
DeleteJeri????
NEVERMIND. Math issue today...duhhhh...
DeleteHey guys....Jungerman Schnucks had 4 packs of Welch 100% juice for clearance $1.75=Free with 0.75 MQ, Natures own 100% whole wheat bread was $2.09=Free after 0.75 MQ, The really small cans of dole pinapples are 0.79 so cheap after -0.50/2 MQ, Mussleman apple sauce 6 packs are 2/$3 so cheap after -0.75/2 MQ.....also on the la prefeirda website you can register and print a 0.35 MQ...makes for some cheap products, the black beans are $1.09 so FREE :)
ReplyDeleteYes be careful, I had issues with all the prairie farms coupons, mt olive hang tags, ham helper .75/3, both totinos rolls and pizza, and skippy peanut butter not tripling. It seems to be that a lot of the cents of wyb 2 or 3 coupons that are the biggest problem. Nature's own buns and bread the register is not recognizing so they have to manually put it in. Just a heads up. Patty
ReplyDeleteHas anyone had an issue with internet/printable coupons not tripling and the store refusing to manually override? A friend had that issue at the Cool Valley and Jennings locations. Did they change their policy and stop tripling printables?
ReplyDeletePolicy's still the same. Yes I had one but Customer Service refunded me. She got the coupon from the register then refunded me. Hope your CS is nice. I never have a problem with printable (even when the printout isn't the best). ColumbiaSchn
DeleteI've had that happen at the Cool Valley store as well. There are a couple of cashiers that refuse to do it - usually older cashiers (I've learned who they are...) In fact, this morning I circled the store waiting for another register to open so I wouldn't have to go through one's line :) I had no problems when I did check out (grand total of 26 cents for $26 worth of stuff!)
DeleteBasically, if you see the cashier reading every single word on every coupon, you might want to pick a different lane.
-TK
I noticed the Save 55¢ Jimmy Dean coupon says at the top "Do Not Double or Triple". Will Schuncks still Triple it?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the week for the Musselman's applesauce coupon?
ReplyDeleteThe applesauce coupon was from this past weekend.
DeleteThanks!
Deletehotcouponworld.com/database is an awesome reference for finding coupons in circulars..I use it ALL the time! :)
DeleteCHECK YOUR RECEIPT. Customer Service said it's been happening where the machine is not reading (or cashier didn't scan TWO .75 coupons). Be patient, they're pretty nice so stay cool yourself.
ReplyDeleteA lot of tags were taken out from the products so no free stuff. A lot of the "free" cereals were gone from shelves and it's not even half day yet!
I swear I have so many problems at Schnucks. At what point isn't it worth it?? Took me over 45 minutes to check out due to coupon issues. I did grab the wrong cereal, so I take the blame for some of that. But still... The O'Fallon, MO, store isn't very FRIENDLY! Between the eye rolls and head shaking by the customer service girls, I will be moving on to another Schnucks when triples and doubles come around again.
ReplyDeleteHead west! The Lake St. Louis Schnucks is very helpful!
DeleteYou are legitimately using coupons. Sometimes they forget that the customer is king and it shouldn't always be on the clock employee social hour (like @ Dorsett Schnucks!). And if I offend anyone, do something different next time I visit your store to prove me wrong.
DeleteCall headquarters and kindly state your negative experience at that store. I guarantee you that they won't be happy and will work on correcting the problem. I would also call that store and speak with the Store Manager about the situation. You are the reason these people have a job!
DeleteI shop at the OFallon store every week and have never had anyone not be friendly. They are actually ALWAYS very nice. I have also never stood in line for 45 minutes using coupons. If you only used the 15 that you can, how could it possibly take 45 minutes. They would need to scan a coupon every 3 minutes. Schnucks is giving us a great chance to save money, so please don't go on the internet and bash them. Maybe we could post on their facebook page a compliment and thank them instead of always complaining. Seriously folks lets be more positive. My total today before coupons was $42.00 and my total after was $2.12. I'm happy as a lark!!!I can't believe how quick people are to complain about saving money! Would you rather Schnucks just deliver free groceries to your door? Would that make you happy??
DeleteSome prices I found today....

Skippy PB $2.50-.55=.85

Oh, I forgot Heinz Ketchup 14 oz $1.79-.55=.15
DeleteBoth the Prairie Farms Sour Cream and Dip are $2.38 for the 16 ounce tubs in Illinois.
DeleteWhere did you get the .55 Heinz Ketchup coupon?
DeleteIt was on Coupon Network a week or so ago.
DeleteThanks for info on Prairie Farms:)
Which coupon insert is the Duke's mayo coupon?
ReplyDeleteIt's in the 8/11/13 SS
Deletehttp://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/lrwc-coupon-database I like this coupon database when I need to search for a particular brand.
ReplyDeleteI find it helpful at times. :)
thanks...a billion!!!
DeleteI bought one Land O Frost delishaved ham ($2.50) and used a .55 coupon for a final price of .85... The magic coupon machine printed out a coupon for .75 off one Land O Frost delishaved lunchmeat. This makes the final price a nice .25 on my next purchase.
ReplyDeleteWhen you used the $.75 Catalina coupon on your next Land O Frost purchase, did you get another $.75 coupon? TIA
DeleteI have not tried it yet but I think it might happen every time based on my experiences last week... Last week I bought two Glad sandwich bags and I got a Glad $1.50/3 coupon from the magic machine. So the next day I went and bought three Glad in order to use the magic coupon and with that purchase I got the another Glad $1.50/3 coupon from the magic machine. I think I did this 4 times last week...
DeleteToday I bought Land O Frost Smoked Turkey and got $1.00 off two LOF out of the Catalina. I wonder if it's the Honey Ham (my original comment) that triggers the better other coupon?
DeleteI got honey turkey and received the 75 cent coupon.
DeleteI keep getting different variations of Dole Fruit cups coupons from the machine. One transaction, it spit out two - one for .75/3 and one for .50/2.
DeleteWoohoo! 2 trips to Schnucks done today (they have a 1 transaction per household etc etc rule, but my Schnucks near my work in St. Charles and the one near my home in Overland are both okay with me stopping at each as I typically go after work and again after dinner). Got salad dressings free, bread free, banana peppers free. Missed the cereal deal--heard both stores sold out early! First trip was 52.31 per coupons and 18.06 post coupons, second trip (is in an envelope to be submitted for a Finish dish detergent rebate) started around 33 and ended up at 11. :) Task for the weekend--organize my pantry!
ReplyDeleteBeware lots of coupons not doubling--inserts and printables, $0.40 and $0.75 doesn't seem to make sense
sure it does, that'a the name of the game don't pay someone to fix the I-T promblem, save money, suck in the customers and don't give them what you promise. welcome to corporate america. the store i went in today the poor guy running the register was a said he was a former computer programmer, software analyst, and I-T profesional, probably in his late 50's. he said that there was no reason these problems could not be fixed, he knew exactly how to get the right amount to come off manually. I said let me guess your job is in India now and your working for minimum wage, with no benefits. They just hope you don't notice. So they can keep up their profits. watch them like a hawk. i think the best part is that they intentionally hire people that can't even count back change without the register telling them how much they owe you. i had one cashier today that couldn't figure out what .75 x 3 is. it's called corporate greed and it is rampent. mr schnucks needs your change more than the working man. the sad part is most of the time they get it without people noticing or saying anything.
DeleteWow...that's a bit strong..perhaps Schnucks is guilty and perhaps not...but either way, they are GEnerOUsLY offering a vast savings and perhaps one shouldn't be so critical? I agree that the kinks should already be ironed out, but let's NOT bite the hand that feeds us.
DeleteSchnucks IS working to solve the problems. I was there at midnight on Wed. and the coupons were not tripling. People from corporate were called (and probably woken up) to resolve the issue. Copies of the cereal IP's were taken so the issue could be fixed. All of the IP's scanned correctly for me yesterday. Schnucks is running an AMAZING promotion with the triples and I am appalled at the people who have the gall to complain about it.
Deleteyeah right they are not going to fix it, lol. they just hope people will not notice they are over charging you. look at the lawsuit filed against walgreens. it's common practice with schnucks coupons also. they could fix it in five minutes if they really wanted to. mark my words, the same issues will be happening a year from now. how much extra money do you think they making withthis practice, it's change to you but, add it up, if it happens to everyone and they take in just $100 in coupons that don't triple like they promise, at each store, each day that's thousands, tens of thousands in no time at all.
DeleteThey are offering triple coupons! When I can save $30.00 in one transaction, Schnucks is NOT ripping me off. Seriously, get a life!!!

DeleteIf you mean the insert date i'm not sure, I think where going to expire at the end of the month so it could have been as much as a month I guess. I had them in my coupon box and I dont keep track of the insert dates, I clip organize and just hold them till the expire, if I don't get to use them, oh well, I was a girl scout and I have ocd so I like to be prepared for anything.

The page link for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch coupon (in Spanish) does not show any coupons even after I click on "coupons" - anyone else having problems? Have been trying for several days with no luck. Help!
ReplyDeleteno I printed it Monday night though, it might be gone
DeleteI got a screen pop up about "showing all". When I accepted that the coupons appeared. Hope that helps
DeleteI actually had to subscribe to the website. I got to practice my spanish (ha, ha) but I got a couple of coupons (including that one).
DeleteYou have to join first and then the coupons show up. I just did this and it worked fine.

What store have you found the El Monterey's ?
DeleteAt Brentwood they are in the freezer at the back of the store with the other Mexican frozen items.
DeleteI found the El Monterey's at the Collinsville, IL store.
DeleteTo answer previous questions: Arm & Hammer toothpaste coupon in 8/18 SS
Dole Fruit Crisp coupon in 8/11 SS
& Thanks to the person(s) who replied to my Duke's mayo question & Cin.Toast Crunch question.
They have them in the middle isle freezer at the St Chas Jungerman store
DeleteAlso, if you become a Dricoll's berry club member on their website, you can print a -0.50 coupon.....It was nice to get the regular size driscoll strawberries for -$1.50 off :) I've been getting my berries at aldies which is soooo much cheaper, but driscoll strawberries just can't be beat :)
ReplyDeleteThe blackberries and raspberries are $1.00 this week, so with the coupon they are free.
ReplyDeleteI'm confused - my Sch. ad says that Driscoll raspberries 6 oz. are $2/5 & no mention of blackberries being on sale.
DeleteIt wasn't in the ad, I found it in store (Illinois), but it may be regional. Both the raspberries and blackberries were 10/$10 here.
DeletePaid $6 for $32 worth yesterday at Brentwood. My Cheerios and Cocoa Puffs printables didnt triple automatically, so the cashier scanned each of them 3 times. The cereal deal rang up funny, 3 boxes for $4.50 + one box at $1.50 -$1 -$1 so at first I thought it only took $2 off. Thanks to everyone for the price checks, I'll make another trip or 2.
ReplyDeleteSome more prices: Salsiccia links and brats $2.44/lb, Nesquik pouches .80 on clearance, Country Crock 15oz $2.38 -.40=$1.18, Jolly Time popcorn $1.25 (I have .75 coupons from a mailer), Welch's 100% small bottles $3.54-.75=$1.29.
Has anyone had any issues today with their coupons only doubling when the coupon exceeds the item price? For example, the Wishbone is $1.67 each, the coupon is 0.70 so after triples it exceeds the item price. Usually the system would just lower the triple to the value of the item, $1.67. I noticed that coupons like this were only doubling so it took off $1.40 instead of $1.67. Please let me know if anyone else has seen this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy Nature's Own .75 coupon did not triple because it was more than the item cost (2.09). What it did was give me the item for free .75 + $1.34 = 2.09, making it free. Which is what sounds like should have happened to your Wishbone: .70 + .97 = 1.67, free.
DeleteMy Wishbone bought in Collinsville,IL scanned correctly .70/ $1.67
DeleteI think I remember a Nature's Own Bread coupon for .75 before the 8/18 SS with the same exp. date. Anyone know which coupon insert it was in? Or maybe I'm mistaken.
Thanks for your response , Carolyn. My coupons worked as you mentioned yesterday but a friend of mine said her coupons would only double today and not make the item free. I was just trying to see what I could expect when I went this evening. I guess I will just try it and hope that they work as expected!
Deleteqpons2, My newspaper coupons are not that organized & I'm at work, but that sounds correct, I think I have 3 from the most recent and 2 from an older insert.
DeleteSo you had to pay .27 cents for a bottle of salad dressing? Seriously! You can't even get a side of ranch at a restaurant for that much. Geeez!!
DeleteIt was a simple question... this is the reason I never post questions on here.. someone always has to make comments...
DeleteI don't blame you. That previous comment was completely uncalled for. That's why I don't post much either.
DeleteI'm reading that Schnucks will extend their Triple Coupons Deal another week!
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice, but it would be even nicer if they could get the system to scan all the coupons correctly and tell ALL the cashiers (and customer service) what to do when it doesn't work. It would save a lot of time and frustration on everyone's part.
Deletewhere did you hear/read this?
DeleteSORRY...I read it wrongly. Someone updated today about the event running next ad cycle so I mistakenly thought it's gonna be extended.
DeleteI was at the OFallon MO store yesterday - WONDERFUL experience!! I saved the cereal coupons to the end since they caused problems on Wed. The cashier told me that she took every coupon up to CS that didn't scan properly so that CS could call the corporate office and have them fixed. Every one of my coupons scanned properly yesterday. So it seems they are trying to fix the issues. It takes the right cashier to let someone know though. If they just manually make it work, that only helps in that one transaction.
DeleteI think the other Nature's Own coupon was in the 7/14/2013 SS-Taylor Swift on cover with Diet Coke
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! This blog is the greatest! I wasted lots of time trying to find it on other coupon data base sites, all to no avail. Thanks for you help.
DeleteYes, Jerri's site is the best in Saint Louis! Thanks Jerri!
DeleteWithout reading ALL of the above posts, anytime a coupon doesn't triple, or double, properly, call it to the attention of the cashier and have them correct it. If they are unable, then have them call management. If the coupon value exceeds the price of the item (ie..the Wishbone), then the item is merely free. (.75cents x 3= $2.25~ $1.67 taken off rather than $2.25).
ReplyDeleteI hope that this is not repetitive and helpful to some of my coupon friends!
Yup. Store policy said they are not going to allow overage (if u got the overage, then the cashier just didn't know the policy or didn't bother to correct the machine).
DeleteJust make sure the coupon applies to the correct items. Customer Service helped me and got me back around $6! Helpful to bring your own pen to reference the coupon with the item to make sure!
I had a cashier yesterday that was very nervous about my cereal coupons and how to triple them. I kindly reminded her that my .75 coupons only needed to double because I was only being charged 1.50 oop for the cereal after the $4 off 4 boxes. She was very appreciative of my honesty and was super nice. After I helped explain the cereal coupons to her, she was very diligent about making sure I got the right values on my other coupons. It was a great value for me and she was happy to see the good deals that I got. I always make sure I am very nice and follow the rules, the cashiers truly appreciate it!
DeleteThanks for sharing this and spreading the honesty...so important! ;)
DeleteFREE: Nature's Own Bread & Buns: The Whole Grain bread is $1.99 (had shelf sale tag) but the Whole Wheat bread, Hamburger, & Hotdog Butter Buns are ringing up $2.09 although no sale tag. This makes all 4 kinds free! 2 sets of coupons, too, 7/14 SS & 8/18 SS
ReplyDeletep.s. The third kind of bread, Honey Wheat, is NOT on sale.
I am new to couponing. Can anyone tell me how often Schnucks does triples?
ReplyDeleteSchnucks just started the super doubling and tripling about 10 months to a year ago (right before the fall/winter holidays, I think). It seems to me that they offer a super double or triple about once a month, although I think there was a lull right after the whole thing with credit card numbers being stolen (March-ish?). The coupon values that they'll double/triple change, ie double $0.50 and less, triple $0.75, double $1, triple $0.50, double $0.75 (we haven't gotten so lucky as triple $1!).
DeleteThey always double coupons $0.40 and less, as does Dierbergs. No other grocery stores in St Louis area double coupons as far as I'm aware.
mk
Thank you so much!
DeleteOh! I started couponing around March...and there's been a lull. I didn't know they do that that often! wow! That will affect how I shop now. I'm in Columbia area and here doubles to $1 =0)...thanks for the info!
DeleteWhich store in IL has the berries 10/$10?
ReplyDeleteI have gotten them in Ofallon, Fairview Heights and Swansea so far. They had to enter my coupon manually because it says do not double, so look out for this. I love free produce.
DeleteThanks for the info. Found them on display at the Collinsville store this a.m.
DeleteSpringfield, IL store is where I found them.
ReplyDeleteDouble Bonus: The Kellogg's cereal for .40 (.70 RP 7/14 exp. 8/25) which includes the Fruit Loop Treasures now has double points on codes at Kellogg's Family Rewards. Also, great for donating.
ReplyDeleteTrip #2 last night, paid $6 for $19 worth. Dukes mayo was sold out, will check again at the end of the week for that and the the Natures Own bread. My .55 Skippy PB printable only increased to .99 so I got cash back at CS.
ReplyDeleteCJ - The Kirwood store had both in Stock at 8am this morning. They didn't have a ton of the mayo, but they had just restocked the bread. there wasn't a sale tag on the shelf, but the whole wheat rang up $2.09.
DeleteMegan - thanks, I'll head up there as soon as I get off work. I'll wait til Tues for the bread since I dont need it quite yet.
DeleteCJ, have you ever froze bread. My sister n law turned me onto it and it works great. Can't even tell it's been frozen.
DeleteI dont like the texture of bread after its been frozen, and I rarely have enough room in my freezer anyway. I'll just wait til Tues to get the Natures Own and then have sandwiches for a week to use it up - lots of PBJ and tuna in my future :)
DeleteDon't forget super cheap lunchmeat sandwiches, too.
DeleteLots of French toast here.
DeleteI'm not much for lunch meat, but french toast sounds great. Thanks for the suggestion, Teresa :)

Suave Deodorant

Sargento Sliced Cheese
Mt. Olive Pickles or Peppers
Tab - Thanks for the new price checks. Lots of good coupons in tomorrow's inserts that might make for good triples. I havent seen any Colgate for $1 at my stores, I'll look again. Someone posted earlier this week that Mt Olive pickles were free after .55 coupon so they must be priced around $1.65.
DeleteThanks, Tab! I just finished looking through my insert, but I didn't see the Maruchan Bowl, Colgate and Heluva Good Dip (my favorite!) I only had one insert (RedPlum) in my paper. Are there supposed to be 2? I need to make sure I check when I make my paper run this afternoon
DeleteAlso, the Old El Paso soft tortilla stand and stuff kits were $2.50, so $.25 after triple coupon.
Delete- yes 2 inserts. 1 RP and 1 SS. Also got my heintz ketchup for $0.14 and zatarians rice for $0.17! Great deals!!! Both of these q's are in this weeks inserts.
DeleteThe OEP stand up tortillas were $2 at the Kirkwood store so free :) Sargento slices are $2.99, $1.49 after coupon.
DeleteTabbitha - Thanks for the Zatarans price check, I forgot to look for it yesterday.
I had 2 .75 coupons not triple right yesterday, Natures Own and Reach. One didnt increase at all and one only went up to $1.39 instead of $1.99. Then something really strange - I thought I'd picked up a Maruchan noodles, the register tripled the .50 coupon for it, and when I got home I noticed it was a different product. Not sure why the coupon even went through, let alone tripled correctly.
I posted this comment on the Dierbergs post, but I want more to see it so posting here too. Feel free to delete if you see fit, Jeri.
ReplyDelete---
I was at Dierbergs this morning getting some fabulous deals when I kept finding photocopied coupons left on the shelf by a previous customer.
People, please don't photocopy coupons. It's illegal and it gives the rest of us trying to coupon ethically and legally a harder time to do so.
For the honest among us, if you see a photocopied coupon in the store, do what I did and crumple it up and throw it away. I would hate for the casual shopper to pick it up and get in trouble. Let's not let a few bad apples spoil this all for us.
Were they photocopies of coupons from the paper or internet coupons? People need to realize that if they copy the internet coupons, they each have a unique number that can be traced back to your computer's IP address. I had to explain that to a cashier once who accused me of using photocopies...
DeleteAre you 100% sure they were photocopied? Many of my coupons are black text with orangy-pinky product shots --- its because all my printer ink colors are empty...
DeleteAll of my coupons print in black and white and a little faint. This is because I have my printer set to only print in black/gray scale and on draft. This saves a ton on ink through out the year. Every so often I'll be questioned by a cashier and when I explain how I do it they understand. You may have found coupons from someone who does the same thing. I know a lot of others that do the same thing.
DeleteYes, these were pretty obvious photocopies of internet printables. Otherwise I would have used one of them! I print in grayscale too most of the time. These were not printed.
DeleteObviously the person who left them may not have known photocopying coupons is wrong. I'm pretty sure all the commenters here know not to do that. I mainly wrote my first comment for new couponers and all the lurkers out there.
Like the first anon said, printable coupons contain your IP address and can be traced back to you. If you abuse them, they can block you from printing again from that computer.
or arrest you for coupon fraud.
DeleteEdwardsville also had $1 raspberries and blueberries...I was surprised! Unlike my awful Deirbergs trip today, Schnucks was awesome! Besides awesome triple deals, they had tons of samples around (beer, wine, cheese, nutella...to name a few). They were giving red carnations to the women shoppers, had the SIUE mascot walking about, EHS band playing outside...my kids got to decorate their own cookies and get their face painted. Not sure if that is because a Sam's Club is opening next weekend in Edwardsville? Eve
ReplyDeletethe glen carbon Sams is opening next weekend.
DeleteArgh!! How I missed this super-triples until now even it says the top of the ad. Since we lost our dog last month, I'm so empty and I've been way behind the couponing world. Anyways, I did some price check with my phone.

Deletewhere can you find the Liberte Yogurt?
ReplyDeleteMy Columbia store restocked the cereal aisle so I was able to get some cheap cereals for food pantry!
a question: when a coupon prompt you to print and the print option allows you to choose number to print...can I print 4 or legally I have to do 2?
You should print one b/c it has a unique number. Then you can often go back to the original link and print a second one with its own code. It's a good question and took me a long time to find the answer.
DeleteThe Lifesavers/Skittles .75 cpn in this Sundays paper makes the Lifesavers gummies free. My store had 3 flavors. Also the .75/2 Sauve do made 2 free on the $1 ones.

Delete.94 Bunny Bread $1.69 - .25 = 6/23 RP
DeleteSome people printed a .55 cpn for Heinz ketchup on smart source a while back. Making the ketchup .14 after triple. I think that's where the confusion is coming from.
DeleteHelp! I cannot find the Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom .75 coupon in the 6-23 RP. Anyone else find it?
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Liberte, on their website you can search what stores near you carry their products. Not many near me in Ballwin.

Does anyone have the upc code to Bounty Basic single 1ct roll? Also, I'm having a hard time finding this single roll at Schnucks. If anyone knows what store has them I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI saw them with the "back to school" items like pens/pencils/puff tissues. I saw a lot at the beginning of the triple event and by today, the last day, I didn't see any.
Deletethe UPC is 0 37000 84662 8
DeleteThe Ladue store had lots this morning. I noticed them on my way out and had to go back and get a few rolls. They are up against the wall after you go through checkout in a huge box with Puffs tissue.
-TK
I found them at the Dardenne Prairie store. They were in a dump bin near the paper products aisle. Next to a bin with Puffs tissues. - Andrea
DeleteAt the Kirkwood store, they are to the left when you enter through the right side doors. I always miss them if I come and go through the other doors.
DeleteDoes anyone know what the regular price is at Shop N Save this week for the Red Baron Pizzas, watermelon, and Johnsonville that are on the front page coupons of the ad. I'm trying to decide if I need enough to make a trip tomorrow worthwhile.
