Are you allowed to use the bogo coupon with the 3/2 fir pantene at Cvs. I was just told no by the Alton, il store.

DeleteI would suggest going to the EA store if possible. The Alton store is Horrible with coupons. I have not shopped there for @ 4+ years because of their misunderstanding of coupons. The EA store is Great.
While a store might allow you to do this, it is not actually right. The BOGO coupon takes the two qualify items to be purchased. Coupon rules, dictate that only one coupon per item stated. Since this takes both items they really should not accept the other

DeleteB1G1 coupons can be confusing since some of them attach to (2) products and some attach to (1) product. But either way from my understanding the store will get reimbursed either way.
DeleteWhen you encounter complexly-worded coupons, just remember this one thing: Focus only upon a coupon's purchase requirement. So in the case of a simple BOGO coupon, the manufacturer's stated purchase requirement is to BO (buy one). The manufacturer is requiring you to buy 1 item in order for the coupon to be considered validly used. If you had a "buy two, get one," coupon, then the manufacturer purchase requirement would be to have to purchase 2 items in order to be able to validly use that 1 coupon. Now....many stores who have agreed to accept coupons have also developed their own internal store coupon policies prohibiting the use of, say, 2 BOGO coupons on 2 items (which used to make both free! oh, how I miss those days!☻ ), or the use of a non-BOGO coupon on the "get one free" item that's being donated by the manufacturer in the transaction, but in my opinion, this is really none of the store's business, for if the manufacturer didn't wish for people to be able to use the BOGO coupon on the purchase and also a coupon on the free item, they could just state the non-validity of using a coupon on the free item right there on the bottom of the BOGO coupon along with all their other terms and conditions. DeleteI talked to someone at a different store and she said that what the Alton store told me is wrong. I will not be going back to that one again. She said that I could have used both. I'm bummed now that the sale is over, but oh well.
