  1. Not a deal, but a question... Has anyone else had a bad experience with coupons at Target recently? I used to love shopping at Target but my last two trips have resulted in the cashier being very rude and unwilling to accept my coupons (in one case even those that scanned without issue) but not explaining why. In one case the manager was helpful, but in the other instance the manager was just as rude. All of my coupons were valid in both cases. Just wondered if anyone else has experience something similar.

  2. I had a terrible experience there. It wasn't the cashier, it was one of the head cashiers that was walking around. One of the coupons she was arguing about was one of their own from their website. I sent an email to their corporate office to complain. I have never had someone so rude.

    1. I have also had bad experiences at Target and won't be going back. I shouldn't have too beg them to take my legit coupons. Geez Target!

    2. I haven't shopped Target for a very long time. My experience with coupons hasn't been good either. I would have thought after the Credit Card breach they would have become more customer friendly.

    3. I stopped shopping at Target just before Thanksgiving. The cashier questioned a cpn and had the head cashier come over. He proceed to tell me that the cpns I was trying to use were copies of each other because the numbers over the bar code were the same on the 4 cpns. I tried to explain that he was looking at the wrong number, he needed to look at the numbers in the upper right corner. He refused to even listen so I walked out leaving about $100 worth of items for them to put away and saying something not so nice to him.... I was done because it wasn't the first time I had problems. They continued over the fall to get worse and worse. I also decided that if a cashier was going to try and bully me when I was using cpns honestly, they didn't need my hard earned money! I also contacted corporate via email and phone. Never heard anything on email and I was suppose to get a call back from someone after they investigated the issue......never heard back.

    4. It depends on which Target you go to. I have never had any problems with any coupons I've used at Bridgeton Target - and I use printed mfg coupons. Target-printed coupons, Target mobile coupons and the cartwheel app every single time I go there, at least 3x a week. The St. Charles and Cottleville/OFallon Targets are a different story - every coupon I've used is scrutinized down to the last letter and if the coupon is a penny in your favor lights and sirens go off and all heck breaks loose (or so it seems). I am sad that everyone has had such trouble and bad experiences because there are some great deals to be found there (I love totallytarget dot com).

  3. It's good to know it's not just me, but I'm sad to hear that it seems like a bigger issue. I love Target in general and Totally Target is a great site but I really don't enjoy being treated like a criminal because I want to save money. I sent an email to corporate and received a generic "we are glad to hear from you, we care about your business" response. The email did suggest asking for the Guest Service Team Leader if there are issues in the future. I might try that before giving up totally. I really like the store overall.

  4. Here's my recent experience:
I used the B2G1 free DiGiornos pizza coupons and bought 6 pizzas. The deal was to buy 2 pizzas and get a soda liter free. I proceed with 3 sodas and was told that I could only get 2 b/c the other 2 pizzas were free. All SIX pizzas rang up for the sale price, but the third liter of soda was voided b/c pizzas 5 and 6 were free. No big deal on a liter of soda, but I still thought that was cheezy of Target to pull the soda. What do others think? Thanks!!
