Make a Differnce Day - October 24, 2009
I have more toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss...... than my family could ever use. Many freebies I pick up because I know someone could use them. I have every intention to donate these items to a charitable organization, but they are still sitting in a bag in my pantry.
This Saturday is the perfect opportunity to pass them on. Webster Groves and Shrewsbury are celebrating Make a Difference Day. Volunteers from the Webster-Kirkwood Times will set up a one-stop charity drop-off location in front of the Webster Groves Aquatic Center. The Times will be collecting items from 9 a.m. to noon.
Check out the list of Organization they will be collecting for and the types of items they need HERE.
Thanks, CJ!

Jeri - Thanks for featuring this event. I have my boxes all filled and ready to drop off tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteCJ - Thank you for letting me know about this event.
ReplyDeleteI dropped off my donation around 9:15 this morning. They were very appreciative. Also dropped off some cat and dog food (freebies) at the city's animal shelter today. I adopted my kitty from there 2 1/2 years ago so it felt good to give something back.
