Schnucks will have Frieda’s Specialty Winter Citrus in-store for their Produce University®: Winter Citrus event THIS Saturday, February 25th. Visit your local Schnucks store to try FREE samples of Blood Oranges, Kumquats, Shasta Mandarins, and many more, and receive information about the products.
I love the Frieda's Produce University. It allows me to try produce I've never tried before. I'm planning on trying Blood Oranges for the first time on Saturday.
Now, the really good news for Coupon STL readers! I'm teaming up with Frieda's Inc, The Specialty Produce Company, to add a little more gourmet to your shopping cart with a fantastic giveaway.
The Giveaway: Frieda's is offering (3) lucky readers a Goodie Bag featuring Frieda's products in a reusable shopping bag AND (200) lucky readers (yes, 200 - that's not a typo) a $2 off any Frieda's Brand Packaged Product sent via mail.
The coupons have no expiration date and are good on any Frieda's brand packaged produce items such as Pearl Onions, Fingerling Potatoes, Meyer Lemons, Blood Oranges, French Style Crepes and more!
Required Entry: Leave a comment. Are you planning to, or did you go to Produce University at Schnucks on Saturday? What is your favorite specialty produce product? I'll need some way of contacting the winners. Leave your email address in your comment in this format - couponstl (at) gmail (dot) com.
Extra Entries:
- Visit Frieda's Produce University website and then leave a comment here about which of their products you would spend your $2 coupon on.
- Follow Frieda's on Facebook, Twitter, or the CEO's blog and leave a comment that you have done so. (one additional entry per Friedas' social media you followed)
- Follow Coupon STL via email (and confirm you subscription), reader, Facebook or Twitter and leave a comment that you have done so. If you already follow Coupon STL in one of those ways, let me know that in the comment instead. (one additional entry per method you follow)
Rules: One entry email and one coupon or goodie bag per person and/or household. This giveaway is only open to residents of the USA, ages 18 or older. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm Central Time on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Winners will be chosen by random and I'll notify you by email. Winners will have 48 hours to respond, or I'll pick a new winner.
Disclosure: Frieda's are supplying the coupons and goodie bags for this giveaway and the are sending me goodies to facilitate the giveaway. As always, opinions are my own.

Not sure what exactly is considered a "specialty" item, but we are really enjoying mango in our smoothies even though I don't necessarily love them alone.
