Other Grocery Stores in St Louis

Here is what I see as the best "cherry picking" items at the other grocery stores in town. I don't include all the match-ups, but only items you might want to pick up, if one of these stores is convenient to your location.

If you see items I missed, or if you know of great deals at stores I haven't listed, please leave the information in the comments section.

Click on the store name for more information - location, hours, current ad.

  1. Does anyone know if Sav A Lot or Johnnys accepts internet coupons for free items? I am bound and determined to find a store that will take my coupon for a free can of Libbys veggies!

  2. Hi CJ - I used an IP at Johnny's last winter, but it wasn't for a free product.

I don't think it's just the stores around here that won't accept an IP for a free product. I wonder if Libby's even knows this.

  3. I left a message on Libbys Facebook page about many stores not accepting internet coupons for free items. I dont think they care - they saved a bundle not having to pay postage on the 60,000 free coupons they issued and most of the printables will never be redeemed.

  4. Hi CJ - You could be right with Libby not caring. DEAL$ is not accepting coupons. I saw they had Libby's.

Although, I was at DEAL$ last night to scope prices and the manager (I know him well) came up to me all excited because he had a big "couponer" in. He proceeds to tell me she bought Dorittos.

His attitude about "couponers" changed quickly when I asked if they use the coupon for free Doritos and if it was the coupon, they were fraudulent. I know he went to the computer and was emailing other stores. Sorry, they might not take a coupon for a free item today.
