  3. Has anyone confirm the packs of Farmland fully cooked sausage are a buck or not? Last week when I looked for the Farmland fully cooked bacon packs, I couldn't find that product. If it's only the links that need to be cooked, $.25 on Thursday is a real bargain.

  4. Thanks a lot for the early SnS coupon match-ups, Ms. Jeri! Really appreciate it. :)

To Anyone, please, IS $1.30 for Orange Juice after coupons the best price already? TIA, a lot. :)

Tropicana OJ spoiled me with their free and B1G1 coupons but they have stopped giving them away for quite a while now. I miss drinking OJ. :I

  7. Hi All & TYVM Anon. for the cheat sheet type up on the cats. This is what I use when matching cat deals with sales, coupons etc.. If you print it and make your notes on that it really helps. =)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh...General Mills cereal Cat. Q promo is what couponmama saw! Sorry...my bad. I got excited. :I

    ReplyDelete
  11. Hi coupon.girl--I have found these national lists can sometimes vary in dates but I think this one is correct JMO and sometimes we may not get all deals that are listed in the SuperValu chains. If I am remembering correctly the current cat signs posted at the stores say ending 10/31 soooo one would think new cats start on 11/1.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Janet, I meant the packs of fully cooked sausage.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I went to SNS this morning and all Betty Crocker fruit snacks are ringing 2/$4 so they had to manually adjust each one. Customer service said they may be posting a sign stating that this ad was in error. So if you really want them hurry!

Also if you did the Totinos pizza deal last week or week before, those pizzas have a $1 off 2 coupon on the back for fruit snacks to make the deal even sweeter.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Does anyone know the dates for the 4 General Mills/free milk catalina, and are regular Cheerios (yellow box) and Lucky Charms included?

    ReplyDelete
  15. reposting...

To Anyone, please, IS $1.30 for Orange Juice after coupons the best price already for stocking up? TIA, a lot. :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi coupon.girl--Which OJ are you getting for $1.30 AQ?

    ReplyDelete
  17. CJ, I *think* lucky charms was included with the free milk promo, and I *think* the regular cheerios are too, but I can't be certain. There were pictures of 4 gm cereals on the sign, sorry i didnt write down the details I had an upset baby so I was in a hurry. The sign was really big on the milk case, you couldn't miss it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi All - I'm just back from SNS to check on a few things. I made notes of what I wanted to look for and then left my notes at home. So there are a few items I don't have answers to.

    Farmland Frozen Breakfast links
Neither I or the two men working in the meat dept. could find this product. They don't think they have ever had this product in.

    GM and Milk Cat
Buy 4 participating GM cereals between 10/17/10 & 10/23/10 and get a Catatlina coupon for 1 gallon of milk, up to $3.75. Particiapting cereals, Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charsm, MultiGrain Cheerios and Total. All on sale this week for $2.50

    Crest
It was on my list to check but I forgot about it at the store.

    Other Things on Sale

    Farmland Fully Cooked Bacon
Still on sale for $2 this week

    Marzetti Caramel Dip
Still on sale for $2.50 this week

    Simpley Lemonade (59 oz) - $2.34
    Grande Chips - $2.50
    Advil 24 tablets - $4.27
Cottonelle Wipes - I couldn't find they carried this.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hi All- I just traded for -1/2 Healthy Choice soup coupons to work with the Conagra instant off.

    10 HC soup = $10
    -Instant - $2 = $8
    -5 x -1/2 MQs = $3 - 20% = $2.40 for 10?

I think they have Ham & Bean that is pretty good.

Also 10/17 inserts had a -$1.25 Chef Boyardee"Big"....wyb 4 CBAD, the cans pitured on the coupon are $1.25 ea and should be included in the Conagra instant off. HTH =)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi Anonymous -Thanks for the list of Cats. I agree with Janet. You should only use this list as a place to start to figure out if SNS is goind to run the offers.

Hi coupon.girl - Yes, valid dates are the dates the Catalina will print.

From what I hear, you won't want to buy the Simply OJ, becuase you'll never be able to purchase another brand again. I hear it's really good. I think $1.30 of premium OJ is a good price. Every once in awhile I've seen SNS brand on sale for $1.

Becky - Thanks for the info on BC fruit snacks. I think it's ironic that I had the price of this product wrong in my initial post and SNS has the price wrong in their ad. I guess we are going to split the differnece.

    ReplyDelete
  21. At my store they had corrections posted about the Crest...I can't tell you what it said though.

A few weeks ago my SNS had a tearpad out for $2 off apples WYB 2 Marzetti caramel dips. They don't expire till December. I took several coupons. I'm not sure if the tearpad is still there, but if it is, good deal on Marzetti & apples (there were several bags at my SNS store for 1.99-2.50ish)

    ReplyDelete
  22. Jeri--I bought the Cottonelle wipes last week at my SNS for $2.77--that was the regular price. They were at the end of the toilet paper aisle--kind of hidden. Hope this helps!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I actually prefer most store brand OJs to Simply OJ or any of the premium brands. Anytime I can get a half gallon for under $1.75 I'm happy.

Jeri - Thanks for checking on the GM/milk catalina. I see lots of Lucky Charms in my future!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jeri--I also couldn't find the Farmland sausage last week and was told they didn't carry it. The worker and I looked in the refrigerated open cases with the other bacon and sausage as well as the "breakfast" section of the frozen food. My mom said she found it in the "meat" section of the frozen food of her store.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Jeri - I also found the Cottonelle wipes at the St. John store last week. $2.77 for the ones I bought, and they had other ones (with Aloe, I think) that was a slightly smaller package and a slightly lower price (around $2.44, I believe).

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thanks for letting me know the fully cooked bacon is still on sale for $2 this week. I was starting to organize my coupons and found $1 Farmland precooked bacon coupons in 8/8SS. There is also a 55 cent coupon for Farmland smoked sausage in the same ads as the other Farmland coupons. This is listed as $3 in the ad. The coupon would make it $2.45 or $1.85 on Thursday.

    ReplyDelete
  27. There is a $1/2 Keebler cookie coupon at Snackpick.com

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hi All

Thanks, Amanda and Staci for the Cottenelle Wipes info. I'm going to have to look a little harder at my store.

JB - We looked with the frozen meat for the Farmland Frozne Links. I'm glad to hear at least some store got the product in.

Thanks, Judy! I can never have enough cookie coupons for my house.

    ReplyDelete
  29. My store had the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks for $1.50 a box... no word about the possible price typo in the ad.
    Buy 6, $9.00 - $1.80 (for Thursday shoppers) - $3.00 (3 $1/2 coupons found on back of totinos pizza rolls) = $4.20
    Get $3.00 catalina back, $4.20 - $3.00 = $1.20 for 6 boxes, or $0.20 per box! I'll be running this deal a couple of times ;)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thanks for the price on the Advil. Got the free Q also. And yeah, Amanda and Staci are right. I also found the Cottonelle Wipes by the Toilet Paper shelf AFTER I kept on looking and looking by the diapers and lol and behold I saw a man shopper with one tub of it in his cart and asked him where he found it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks everyone for your insights on the Simply Orange OJ and other brands OJ stock up prices. Really appreciate it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't want anyone getting sucked in to buying Huggies at SNS because of the in ad coupon. They have diapers priced SOOO much higher than everyone else. Here's the only scenario I've come up with that I'm satisfied with:

The big packs are usually priced right around $25, so assuming they are $25... buy 2, get $10 off $50, use (2) $2.50 coupons from coupons.com earlier this month, and in ad coupon $6 (assuming they will deduct twice). Get 2 big packs for $29 ($14.50 each).

    ReplyDelete
  33. Good Afternoon to All.

Carolyn TYVM on the B/C Fruit snack info-I am hoping it does not change as I have these planned for Thursday-gonna use them for Halloween-they were a big hit last year.

Also the B/C Frostings are $1.68 in case anyone was gonna work them into a deal to roll the cats.

TYVM Jeri for the Farmland bacon info-I found a couple more coupons from one of my moms friends inserts she gives me =) I will be going tomorrow and doing final price checks/cking stocks etc. HTH =)

I have @ 7 ideas worked up on paper and getting ready to match coupons to notes, paper clip together and I should be about ready to go.

Anybody have any good plans? I will post a couple if you want to "see". =)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Janet, I am always ready to see your ideas . I'm still working on my list for thursday .

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm a newbie to couponing but last week, I went to SNS at midnight. I was one of 4 customers in the store. And two of the other customers were friends of mine (totally unplanned). Are we all nuts??? LOL It was nice not fighting all the crazy people on Thursday though. ;) And nothing was sold out yet either! Am I the only nutso one? lol

    ReplyDelete
  36. Hi All

Carolyn - Thanks for the info on BC Fruit Snack coupons on the Totino's packaging.

Huggies buyer - I agree with you. Rarely are diapers a good deal at the grocery store. Even if they devote a huge space in their ad to advettise them.

Janet - YES, we would love to see your plan.

Laurie - I've heard of other midnight shoppers. I've never gone then, but I've gone at 11 pm on Thursday. The store was very quiet.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Good Morning to All: We are in the final stretch of planning. Everyone getting their plans drawn up and ready?

Also to Laurie--Welcome to couponing but to All please remember if you are shopping in the weee hours Catalina Marketing goes off line after midnight for updates etc., if you are expecting a catalina and it does not print during these weeee hours--this is most likely the problem--make sure the catalina machine has the green light ON. HTH

Here is one of my plans for tomorrow:

  38. Janet, I love seeing your plan! What does WT mean?

  39. I just returned from SNS and saw that there were several "big" tubes of toothpaste included in the 10/$10 deal. Some were the whitening or cavity protection, but others were not. Make sure to check the toothpaste isle though and NOT the end cap. I could not find the Farmland sausage, but didn't check by the meat. Everything else was in stock that is on my list and the Betty Crocker fruit snacks were not corrected at my store. I did notice that I still have several $1 off Gain dish soap coupons from the 10/10 P&G, but didn't think to check the price of them.

If someone is planning a "scoping" trip today, could you please check the price of the Gain dish soap? Thanks!!

My kids are off school tomorrow so I'll have to take the 6 year old twins AND my 1 and 2 year olds with me. This could be difficult.

  44. Hi All

Thanks, Janet & couponmama for posting your plans. I love to see what others are buying.

Psycho Sarah - I've looked for Gain at two different store and they didn't stock it.

Colleen - Yes, you can use multiple Catalina coupons to pay for your purchase.

  47. FYI, Scouting tonight the diaper deal isn't bad. Turns out being about what I pay on amazon mom for diapers with a 20% off code.
The huggies big packs are priced at 19.99
    -35% discount (10/50 and 5/50)=14.99
    -3 store coupon
    -2.50 coupon on coupons.com earlier
=$9.49....the size 4 box had 84 diapers I believe, so that is about 11 cents a diaper, great for the bigger sizes

    ReplyDelete
  48. I printed a $3 Huggies coupon from target.com earlier tonight for the Snug and Dry big pack

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hi Phycho Sarah - I used my free coupon for Kraft Cheezy Explsion last week. It's priced at $1.24.

Great plan for a newbie at SNS. Have you used IP's over 50% of the sale price at your store before? Some stores/cahsiers are very picky and pitch a fit if they are, and won't accept them. Other stores don't say a word about them.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

  50. Hi couponmama - Thanks for putting the diaper deal togther.

Hi JB - Does the Target coupon for Huggies have the Target logo on it? I've not had any lucky using manufacuturer coupon with a Target logo on them anywhere but Target. What has your expierence been?

    ReplyDelete
  51. ok i am a dingbat, it is a 30% discount, not 35... i totally did my math all wrong on that, but still the diaper deal is good....

my night owl baby is frying my brain cells :)

    19.99
    -30% =13.99
    -3 store q
    -3 target.com q
    =7.99 or .10 a diaper for size 4s.

Also Maruchan Yakisoba is .78. There is a .50 coupon in one of the inserts for it

Knorr Pasta or Rice sides are $1.25 and there are blinkie coupons for $1/3.

Wholly Guacamole is 2.48, there is a $1 coupon in one of the inserts

V8 Splash is $2.50, I think there is a $1/1 or $1/2 coupon in one of the inserts for it, can't remember

The cheapest brand of Athenos Feta is 2.48. There is a B1G1 coupon on facebook and a $1/1 coupon in the inserts = cheap feta.

  52. Thanks, couponmama! I was warned in college that drinking would kill off brain cells. No one warned me what kids would do.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The coupon I printed does not have a Target logo. I too have had problems using them places other than Target. I haven't had problems using them at CVS, but have at the grocery stores and Walgreens.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Schnucks will take all manufacturer coupons no matter the logo imprinted EXCEPT $x off your next order. They take catalinas printed from any store (except OYNO). It is their policy, if a cashier says something, ask them to call the service desk or a manager. (Probably the service desk is more aware of the policy than some of the managers)

  55. Has anyone purchased the Fuze or Powerade? I am wondering if the "in store coupon" is a Mfg?

    ReplyDelete
  56. the fuze coupon i found was a manufacturer coupon buy 10 save $3

  57. A personal best for me!!! before coupons and without tax the total was $50.50.. after coupons and with tax added------- $1.97!!!
I am so excited! out to do another round of shopping for things that I actually need!

    ReplyDelete
  58. oh, there was a tear pad at CVS for buy 2 Fuze or 1-liter Evian, get 1 free

  59. Hi All

JB - Thanks for the info on the Huggies coupon.

Anonymous - Woo Hoo! I must have gotten shot down at SNS becuase of a Target logo and figured it wouldn't be any different elsewhere.

It might not be a bad idea for shoppers to stop at the service desk before they shop and confirm the coupon is a ok to use. I've done this before when I have a coupon I'm not sure how the store will handle. It usually makes checking out go quicker, and then people don't get so huffy in line behind you.

    Tonya - Great shopping trip!

    ReplyDelete
  60. On my second trip last night total was $51.86 before tax and $2.57 out of pocket after all was said and done! I also received the free milk Catalina and $6 additional catalinas!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wow! Tonya, you're following Janet's footsteps (or is it literally? are you the one she's referring to?)!! hehehe :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. It wasn't me stalking her, but I would love to follow her one day! :) I can't wait until my kids are in school (they are now 2 and 5 months). Then I can make 12 trips in one day! I might even get to actually look through all my coupons to see what deals I am missing, instead of relying on the kindness of strangers to figure them out for me! :)
