  1. The oral b and crest items are 2/$7 not 2/$5 like you have listed. They end up being 2/$5 after the RR.

  2. Got 2 Tuf paper towels, Cottonelle wipes, salmon, Reach toothbrush, Fritos and Theraflu caplets. Paid $4 OOP after $12.50 in coupons and RRs, got $2 RR back and will get a $6 rebate for the Theraflu. The guy behind me said "Wow!" when he saw my total drop from $22 to $4 :) It would have been $0 if I would have remembered to hand over $4 more in RRs that I had. Still have $26 in RRs to use.

  3. WAGS diapers are buy one get one free this week and apparently there is a baby care booklet available at some Walgreens that have $2 WAGS coupons for the diapers. I cannot find the booklet anywhere. If anyone has located one in the St. Charles County area, and wouldn't mind sharing where I would GREATLY appreciate it. I really like the WAGS diapers and having the $2 coupon would make for a great deal.

  5. Hi Anonymous - Opps! Yes, I messed up the Crest deal. Thanks for brining it to my attention. I hope it didn't cause anyone problems at the store.

Hi CJ - I always love your shopping reports :)

Rebecca - I stopped at several Wags, in the city, yesterday. They all had the Infant care booklet in a differnt spot. Make sure you keep looking. I posted abou this booklet today. Print out the picture and take it with you to your stores. Chances are, if they don't have them out, they are in a box in the back room.

  8. I had to ask for the infant care booklet at my Walgreens. Good coupons, so well worth it!

  9. Has anyone in the West County area found the infant care booklets. I'm asked at 2 local stores (Ballwin/Manchester) and even the managers don't have any idea what I'm talking about.

  10. FYI about the Walgreens in Delaware:
I bought the Lysol no-touch thingy that was on sale @11.99; used a $3/1 mfc; paid $8.99 oop, got $7 RR. Good:)
HOWEVER when I tried to do the Vicks deal (buy $20/get $10 RR) the register would not take my Vicks coupons (4x$1.50/1) AND the $7RR.
According to the store mgr, although the RR is good only at Walgreens and has Lysol printed on it, it is considered a MFC and CANNOT be used with ANY OTHER mfcs. Not so good :(

  11. Hi Jamear - I'm not sure the manager gave you all the information.

Yes, a RR is considered a manufacturer coupon for Walgreens rules of no more manuf. coupons than items purchased. But, it does not attach to a particular product.

If buy (4) products and use (4) manf. copuon and (1) RR, the computers at Walgreens are coded not to accept the 5th coupon/RR. But, if you would have added another product (a filler), so you were buying (5) products, it will accept all (5)coupons/RR.

Try this stategy the next time you shop at Walgreens.

  12. I tried the Vick's Deal with just the 3 $1.50 coupons and a $1 for the vaporub. I was also getting the olay body wash with the bogo for moisturizer and deodorant at the time and paying with a RR - Had 10 items, using 7 man coupons plus a RR. Got the Olay RR, but not the Vick's. I was with my son and ended up just having them void the transaction. Very annoyed.
This has happened before. Walgreens managers have said that on buy $X deals, you cannot use man coupons to bring the price below the required purchase amount and still get the RR. On deals where you have to buy X # of products, this is not an issue though. This seems to be the way it actually works at 3 walgreens closest to me anyway. I may call catalina and see what they say though...

  13. Hi pixie - I'd be interested to hear what Catalina say's if you call them.

I haven't done the Vick's deal since the Sinex coupon was valid. But, I know I got my RR when I used coupons for the product. I wonder if they have pulled that RR or if something else screwy is happening?
