Aldi Product Picks - Week of 10/2/11
October 2 - 8, 2011
Every week, Aldi has 4 to 6 Produce Picks that are priced lower than you what you will ever see elsewhere. If you are close to an Aldi, it worth the time to stop in to pick some up.
Aldi now has their local ads online. Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday. If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.
:: Aldi Produce Picks ::
Gala, Granny Smith, or Fuji Apples - $0.25 each
Bananas - $0.35 lb.
Carmel Apples - $0.39 each
Pears (28 oz) - $0.89
Carmel Apples (4-pack) - $1.49
Pumpkins - $2.49
If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons
If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

Not sure if it changed overnight, but clementines were 99 cents for a 2lb bag yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAvocados were .29 at the Fenton store this morning.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephani & Megan - No clementines at all at the store I shop yesterday. I was hoping for some really cheap ones.
ReplyDeleteWe're not Avocado people at our house, so didn't even look for the price yesterday.
I think sometimes individual store will reduce a price if they need to move the product out of the store.
The avocados have been delicious. I have to say, Although I can price match Aldi's ad to Walmart, I'd rather have Aldi's produce--much fresher!

ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm not a Walmart shopper (don't live close enought to take the time), but this in not the first time I've heard of people who won't buy perishable products at Walmart.
