Aldi Produce Picks - Week of 1/02/12

January, 2 - 7, 2012

Aldi doesn't have their Produce Picks in their online ad this week.  These prices are from the store I shop at in Holly Hills.  Hopefully, you will find the same prices at other St Louis area Aldi.

Aldi now has their local ads online.   Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday.  If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local area's ad for prices and dates.

:: Aldi Produce Picks ::

Bananas - $0.25 lb.
Grapefruit - $0.25 each
Pineapple - $0.99 each
Pears (4 pack) - $0.99
Navel Oranges (4 lb. bag) - $1.29

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

  1. In case you didn't get an ad, their Wednesday meat special is Tyson fresh ground chicken for $2.69/lb. I don't really know if that's a good deal (I don't usually buy ground chicken). Also, they have Appleton Farms lower sodium bacon for $3.29/lb which seems like a pretty good price for bacon these days.

    Hi Courtney! I saw the $2.69 per pound ground chicken too. I don't buy ground chicken, but don't think that's good price. You can regularly buy boneless, skinless chicken breast for $2 per pound. Ground should be a lot cheaper than that.

    I do agree that $3.29/lb. for bacon isn't too bad of price. If you didn't get in on SNS Oscar Mayer deals in December.
