  1. Has anyone tried this to know for sure if it works? I have had issues with stores taking Mfg. coupons if they have another store's name on it (even though it technically is "legal")...

  2. Hi Anonymous,

I went this morning and the coupon had to be manually entered. The subject of it saying SNS was brought up but it is still a MQ. But when I did two transactions neither time did the $1 Cat back print out so I will have to make a call to Catalina for these.

    Hope that helps. =)

  3. How do you call the Catalina people? What is the procedure for proof? I usually go to the customer servcie counter and they correct the problem and issue my catalina.

    1. Hi Denise

Here is info on calling Catalina Marketing:

Call Catalina Marketing (877) 210-1917, option 1.(Give it at least 24 hours after you shop to call so they have the data.) Have your receipt in hand when you call. Tell them what you were suppose to receive. They will ask where you shopped and for the reference numbers on your receipt. They will research the problem and can tell if you qualified to receive the checkout coupon. They'll mail you a coupon if you qualified.

  6. Thanks for the info everyone! I just did the math again for SNS...definitely still a better deal at Deirbergs even with Thursday discount and no catalina because the bags are $2.98 instead of $3 meaning you would have to add or change one of your products to get over $15...even if $8 is the total at Deirbergs, it's still better than any scenario I can figure at SNS. 1. There is a catalina at SNS. I found a post at the store in the freezer with the ore ida. It read: Buy (2) Ore Ida Potatoes and Receive a coupon at the Checkout Good for $1.00 off Your NEXT Shopping Order Offer Good 2/19/12 thru 3/17/12. And correct they are $2.98 each at SNS.

  7. Went to Dierbergs for my Ore Ida...didn't get a catalina, but also didn't expect to. They had to call CS for to take the coupon, but then accepted it no problem. Thought I would point out to anyone going to Deirbergs for this deal to pick up a few in-store ads: there is a coupon for free pasta WYB two Ragu products. It doesn't expire until April...so plenty of time to match it up with some nice Ragu coupons/sales! HTH! Eve

  10. Went to Dierbergs last night to use this coupon. They would not accept it, because they said I was already getting $4 taken off by them, so the Shop N Save coupon would not be accepted. The Catalina however did print.

  11. I didn't have this issue because I didn't try the Shop N Save coupon. However I took a $4/10 Weight Watchers coupon to Dierbergs at Olive and Craig and they wouldn't accept it on top of the instant $4 catalina that kicked in saying I had already gotten my $4 off. Curious now what would have happened had I used a coupon for fewer of the WW items and purchased a mixture of the things that qualified for the $15 spending on the $4 instant savings.

  12. Random related question: do stores get reimbursed when they offer instant savings?

    1. Hi Eve - I don't know the details, but store don't offer these Intant Savings deals out the goodness of their heart.

There has to be some kind of financial agreement with the companies & stores when they run this type of offer.

  13. Does anyone know if the Salt Lick Dierbergs in St. Peters has accepted the $4 coupon from the SNS ad? I don't want to waste my gas going up there if they are not accepting it there. TIA

  14. Hi All - The store are very inconsistant with this coupon.

For people whose store/cashiers denied the coupon - was that the cashier, Customer Service or Manager who said no?

  15. Haven't tried the Orida Deal, But the Dierbergs on Washington in Florissant, told me I could use only three of the same coupon. (I was buying 4 Yo Crunch Yogurts with 4-.29/1 coupons). It was the cashier that told me that. so, I only bought three yogurts instead of 4. I hate random coupon policies!

    1. Hi Cherry - Dierbergs policy for double coupons in "Limit 3 idential coupons and 15 total coupons."

They used to have their Double and Internet coupon policy on their web page, but I can't find it now. Most stores also post the policy by the ad stand.

When I have wanted to use more than 3 link IP's, I've stopped at Customer Service and spoke to them. They have told me they would accept a fourth. Another idea, if you want to use more than three, is to take your things to the car and shop again.
