Menu Plan Monday - Week of 4/30/12

My son's baseball team's picnic is suppose to be tonight. I'm not sure there will be any baseball this week after the rain we got this past weekend and the forecast.

I signed up to take the condiments ( love having them all in my stockpile) and fresh pineapple ($0.99 from Aldi last week.)  I hope the pineapple keeps until they can get a game in.

Monday: Baseball Picnic

Tuesday:  Leftover Baked Mostaccioli, Green Salad, Garlic Bread

Wednesday:  Spicy Garlic Chicken (Wanchai Ferry Dinner Kit), Steamed Rice, Broccoli

Thursday: Ham Fried Rice

Friday: Pizza

Saturday:  Grilled Hamburgers, Sweet Potato Fries

Sunday: Pork Steaks, Baked Beans, Potato Salad

  1. I finally sat down and made a menu this morning. Its been a while!
    Mon: Pasta Fagoli
    Tues: Shrimp Curry
    Wed: Patty Melt and fries
Thurs: Italian beef subs (crockpot meal b/c its baseball mayhem in our house that night. I keep looking for easy crockpot meals other than chicken tacos for that night. Overlapping practices mean that the entire evening is shot. Plus our kids are little so we have to help with practice and keep our littlest from running off lol)
    Friday: Chicken Fried Rice.

    1. Hi Marcella - Thanks for sharing. Your busy nights are only going to get busier as your kids get older. I used to feed the kids "linner" after school - something more than a snack, and then we would eat again when practice or a game was over.

  2. That's exactly what we did last week. I'll have to add "linner" to our vocabulary.

Its crazy though b/c Raph gets off the bus at 4:15-ish. Colin's practice starts at 5:15 and goes until 6:15. Raph's practice is from 6-7 on a different field. We only have one baseball game list so far (they play for different leagues) but I'm sure that will be extra special to have 2 games a day every weekend. Fortunately we don't have to travel for games and they are both in the same place each week. Only problem is our Little gets to be dragged to all the practices. In that overlap time last week she ran off into the parking lot and pooped her pants (she's 2). AWESOME! At least she was under my husband's watch so he had to clean it up :)

But yes, the thought of all three in sports with games at the same time makes me shudder...same with the though of them eating as teenagers. They already are like a plague of locusts and they are 8,5 and 2!
