Just want to confirm, is it the 16 oz package as shown on the picture??
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for all you do. :)
Hi coupon.girl,
ReplyDeleteI ran out to the freezer and double checked. All packages are 16 oz.
=)
Thanks! for asking and answering. I added 16 oz. to my post.
DeleteI would like to ask a quick question if I could. I am fairly new to this, and totally hooked. When you print a coupon from the internet, are you limited to using just that coupon, or can you photocopy that coupon if you want to purchase more than one of that item?
ReplyDeletePLEASE do not photocopy them. It is illegal, just like counterfeiting money. People have gone to jail.
DeleteGood question. I see someone has answered, but I wanted to make sure everyone understood why they can't copy coupons.
DeleteThe coupon state," Void if copied, sold, exchanges, transferred or expired.
Each printable coupon has an individual PIN number on it that tracks it back to the computer it was printed on. Find it usually close to the expiration date.
Stores will not be reimbursed for more than one coupon with the same PIN number. When stores don't get reimbursed for coupons, they don't want to accept printable coupons from anyone.
The coupon printing companies will stop computers from printing coupons when copies are use. And, in worse case scenario, individuals might even be charged with coupon fraud if they copy coupons.
You also don't want to trade or give anyone coupons that were printed on your computer. You never know what they might do with them. Just think, your mother might think she is helping someone else out and leave a printable coupon on the shelf at the store for someone else to use. Who knows what nightmares that could cause.
I forgot to say - welcome to the world of couponing. It's great fun and a week like this will for sure hook you. These don't come around often, but when they do it's couponers heaven
DeleteJeri,
DeleteThanks for posting this. I had never thought about there being a risk to me if I gave away a printable coupon. I always thought trading them wasn't allowed or recommended only because you couldn't be sure if the sender had copied them. I sometimes leave coupons I am not going to use by a product, but I definitely won't do that with IPs anymore. Thanks!
Isn't there a $1/2 Oscar Mayer printable out?
ReplyDeleteYes, there was, but it is no longer printable. There have been sooooo many great coupons lately, I can't even remember them all.
DeleteYou cannot photocopy coupons. You are allowed to print two from each computer.
ReplyDeletethank you. that's what I have been doing, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
DeleteThe printables have a unique code on each one you print. If a retailer tries to redeem, they won't be reimbursed. That is the small detail you probably were missing. Have fun couponing - you will find many ways to get your hands on multiple coupons with time!!
DeleteGreat fun this week shopping at Shop and Save. I purchased $64 dollars of groceries for $27 dollars. It was 31 items so each item averaged at less than a dollar! My cuboards are full! Thanks for posting!
