Right now you can grab a new coupon for $1/2 any Goody Hair items at zip 90210 on SmartSource. Thru 12/1 Target is offering a B3G1 FREE deal on Goody Hair Accessories. This coupon states “Redeem at Target Stores” in the fine print but it is a regular manufacturer’s coupon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, nskcsf!
DeleteI found $1 off 1 peelies on Planters peanut butter last night at Target. The don't expire until 6/13. If Schnucks did another double $1 these could make for a good deal. There was also a $1 off Juff Hazelnut.
ReplyDeleteYou took the peelies? Sorry, but somehow that just sounds rude to me. Would you have done that if the store manager was standing there? The manufacturer's intent is that the coupon be used for the item it's attached to. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteDierbergs at Mackenzie Point had Crest toothpaste on sale at .97 cents makes for a good deal if you have any coupons left from the P&G 10/28 insert.
ReplyDeleteReally, why the comment??? You have no idea if the person who posted took 1 or several of the coupons. How is this any different then when people find coupons/rebates and take 1 or more of them.
ReplyDeleteI believe that couponers are honest and taking the peelies off a product without buying the product is stealing. It's no different than taking the movie cash voucher off a movie without buying it.
ReplyDeleteShoppers obviously feel differently about if you should take a peelie off a product you are not buying that day.
ReplyDeleteI feel like the previous commenter that thinks they are to be used on the product they are attached to. I hate nothing more than to see a whole shelf of products with the peelies gone.
But I don't think there are any "official" couponing rules. Everyone is going to do with what they feel comfortable doing.
But, please everyone be respectful of other shoppers.
WOW, who knew posting that I found peelies could cause a stir!To set the record straight - I found them because I was buying both items. I choose to keep them because of their value and long expiration date and use other coupons I had brought with me. I posted the comment so that others could be on the look out for them if they were close to needing the products.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think that taking peelies off a product is fine. Obviously, you have to use the peelie on the product the coupon states. What's wrong with saving a peelie for a later time to use in conjunction with a good sale. The manufacturer's are just trying to get you to buy their product. And you will - just at a later time. Taking peelies are no different than taking tearpad coupons and using them later. I do agree though that you should only take as many as you know you will use & there's nothing wrong with that.
DeleteI don't take peelies off items I'm not buying. If you think it's okay, I'd just encourage you to read whether it says the peelie should only be removed by the cashier and abide by that rule. Most peelies I've seen require that.
DeleteTo me, a peelie is attached to the item the same way a free sample or bonus travel size is sometimes attached to a product. Both are "free" and therefore have no price, but they are also put there by the manufacturer to give the consumer incentive to buy that particular product. I think taking the peelies off of products would be the same as stealing the bonus items.
