Thank you for continuing to post SNS's deals. I shop there all the time rather than Schnucks or Dierburgs. I only take advantage of Schn and Dier when they have their super coupon days. Other than that, SNS has ALWAYS been the better price. Using a coupon at Schn/Dierb pretty much just brings it down to the regular price at SNS. One day I will do a price comparison to either prove or disprove my point using random products only. Thank you for continuing the SNS link!
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not going to stop posting SNS deals. Just, last week was go wild at Schnucks & Dierbergs, I was somewhat kidding that no one would be heading to SNS.
DeleteI've always thought about doing a price compassion on everyday products. But, that hasn't happened. In my unscientific method and only in my head prices, I've always felt that prices were close between the stores. SNS maybe a penny or two less than Schnucks & Dierbergs a penny or two more than Schnucks.
I think SNS has some better prices this week than they have had in a while. Are you thinking the same thing?
I appreciate the Shop n Save posts also, and had a mild moment of panic when I read that you were debating continuing to do them. Glad you were kidding!

I have to supply 4 dozen dollar roll size sandwiches this Sunday for an event at our church - I know Schnucks has Bumble Bee tuna 10 for $10, and wondered if there was anything better out there. It has been a long time since I've purchased tuna, and $1/can sounds expensive to me, but I am surely no tuna expert. : ) Thanks!

DeleteCVS has Bumble Bee Tuna on sale for B1G1. The online price is $1.99, so not better than Schnucks price.
If you live close to an Aldi, you might want to stop in and check the price. I think Aldi is usually cheaper if you can't find a good price w/ coupon at the regular grocery stores.
Chicken of the Sea cans are $0.89 at Dierbergs.

DeleteI don't know what time you have to have your Tuna Salad made by, but Walgreens has Chicken of the Sea tuna on sale next week for $1.09 and they have a $0.50 coupon in the March Coupon Book - makes them $0.59 each.
DeleteIf the evens in the morning, that might be pushing it to get the Tuna and get the sandwiches made.
Another blog is reporting the the Entertainment Book company filed for bankruptcy this morning. Its not know how this will effect coupons in the book, but I thought I'd pass it along for those who still have $5 SNS coupons.
