  2. Hooray! A neighbor who works there was just saying a few nights ago that she hoped they'd bring this back soon to get more people in the door. I wanted to say "Yeah, and it'll finally spur Dierbergs into action!" but she might have deemed me treasonous and ordered me to walk the plank.

    1. Is "per household" new? I thought it was "per visit" previously.

    2. No, it has always been 15 coupons per household per day

  8. Some stores have never enforced the "per household per day" rule before. I did talk to a manager the last time and was told that they were going to start cracking down on that rule because so many people come in and do 50 million transactions and don't leave anything for anyone else. We all used use common sense and not be hoarders or greedy so they keep having these sales. I do 2 transactions per visit. I might go out to my car and come back in but while I am out there others are able to get the merchandise.

    1. Yes, I agree we all need to use some restraint. With Schnucks & Dierbergs offering Super Triple coupons for a full 7 days each, we can all get 210 products when we follow "one per household per day"

    2. Yeah, and who has THAT many coupons? Not me, that's for sure! I'll use what I have though and save a lot. I'm so thankful for this sight and your hard work Jeri along with everyone's helpful matchups. Thanks everyone!

    3. In the past if I didn't go out the first opening morning, some items were gone to never return....but I always get plenty of other deals. This time I didn't go out until Thursday evening and had no problems.

I have one shnucks by me that does not let you leave/come back in... and one that will stop you at the door and ask you to leave if you even try it...lol. I never have done more than 2 trips to the same Schnucks in a day.

To tell you the truth, if they just have these events even every other month or so, it wont matter if you don't have tons of coupons....there are just SO many awesome deals. I was telling my husband that this time I'm not even going for some of the main "Free" items...because of the other events I'm stocked on things like mustard....hot sauce....so this time I'm just going for items that will be super discounted that we are low on. (freezer items again and such)

I'm happy for all of us that we finally got another event !!!!

  9. In my area it's always a 20 coupon limit. Evansville In area, I received the ad in the mail yesterday and it is still 20 coupon limit. So some areas may be more than 15.

    1. Hi Sharon - Yes, some stores outside of the St Louis area get better limits than we do.

But, I have at least 5 Schnucks within 5 miles of my house. I think the limits might be because of the concentration of stores.

  10. Heads up.......I used a credit card there a couple days age and found that they have not fixed their problem with credit cards. It was my second time. I'm using cash from now on.

    1. Thanks! Schnucks keeps saying they have fixed the problem, but I'm still using cash only.

So, are you saying a new card used for the first time after March 31st was compromised?

    2. Yes,it was a new card after March 31.

    3. Oh my! Have you contacted Schnucks and what did they way?

Schnucks keeps saying it's save to use your card, if it's not true, I'm sure the someone in the news media would love to hear your story.

    4. I just told the clerk about it and said I'm going to use cash from now on at Schnucks.

    5. I just found out last nite that my new card has been used too. I'm have to go to the bank on Mon & figure it all out. Almost all of my paycheck has disappeared. Not good...next payday is not for a while:(

    6. omg....and I JUST saw another commercial from Schnucks about how its safe now and they are sorry.

Have you told Schnucks? They need to know...I can't believe they supposedly fixed the issue and it turns out its not really fixed.

I got so excited on my first triples transaction....that I accidentally used my debit card.....just not thinking and habit. Its the only time I've used a card there since the first go around and my and my husbands numbers were taken....

      Now I'm worried again! Ugggh.

    7. I have not told them yet because I found out last night when I tried to pay for dinner, went to bank after to find out my balance and it was negative. Thank God I had cash on me and my daughter bless her soul helped out to. My bank issued new cards automatically for anyone who had transacations between a handful of days in March something like the 13 - 18. I can't remember if I got my new card before or after March 30. One of the things I'll be looking into tomorrow...UGH!!!

    8. What a hassle. Keep us posted on what day that new card was issued and when it was first used.

  11. jeeze....I'm sooo sorry to hear that. I hope your bank credits everything back. How frustrating! On one side of things....Its SO amazing to save, but definately not at that type of expense later.

I hope everything works out, keep us posted!
