Aldi Produce Picks - Week of 9/1/13

Aldi Produce Picks September 1 - 7, 2013

Besides some great price on produce each week, Aldi always has the best price on milk and butter in town.

Produce Pick start on Sunday and Special Buys on Wednesday.  If you're not in the St Louis area, check your local Aldi ad for prices and dates.

:: Produce Picks  ::

Bananas - $0.29 lb.
Peaches, Plums or Nectarines - $0.29 each
Mangoes - $0.39 each
Avocados - $0.49 each
Cantaloupe - $0.99 each
Red Grapes (2 lb) - $1.48

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been awhile:
1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons

If you buy something at Aldi you are not please with, they have a double guarantee. If for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will replace the product AND refund your money. More info HERE.

  1. A friend of mine suggested something I never even thought to do. She takes the Aldi's ad to Walmart and price matches the produce. Sometimes the produce isn't the best at Aldi, and this is a way to guarantee that you will get quality produce for an amazing price! There are a lot of good deals this week, so I think I'll try it! :)

    1. Yes, I have also heard of many people price matching Aldi Produce Picks at Walmart. I'm like Tre and have had very good lucky with Aldi produce. And, I have 3 or 4 Aldi's closer to me than Walmart. But, it's not a bad deal if you already shop at Walmart and you have one close to home.

  2. I have done it before and it works. But I am lucky that the Aldi by me has the best fruit and veggie in town, better than what I can get from Walmart or Target.
