Aldi Price Check - Bing Cherries, Cantaloupes, Honeydew + More

July 6, 2009

Aldi's produce prices change on Sundays, non-food items on Thursdays, and dairy prices fluctuate with the market.

I paid .99 for Fresh Mozzarella this week - It's probably a closeout price. There were only a couple on the shelf and I didn't see a price tag. What a nice surprise, when I got home and looked at my receipt. I know, I should looked at my receipt before I left the store. I would have purchased another one if I had.

If you haven't shopped at Aldi, or it has been a while:1. Make sure you have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. The carts are like luggage carts at the airport. You rent them for a quarter, and you get your quarter back when you return the cart.
2. Take your own bags. Aldi does not provide free bags for your groceries.
3. Aldis now accepts debit cards.
4. Aldis does not accept coupons.

  1. I have not shopped at Aldi's but with the good prices they have on produce, I think I will. :) Do they have bagged spinach? My husband really loves them. :)

  2. coupon.girl - I don't know if they have bagged spinach. I'll look next week and add it to my list if they do.

If you shop at Aldi, put dairy on your list. You can't beat the prices.
