There is a free squarish booklet entitled Everything Bright and Beautiful on the Walgreens cosmetic counter offering $35 of savings. Inside there is a $1 off any Revlon cosmetics coupon that would make the nail polish free with that coupon and the RR.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know how the $5RR for purchasing $25 works? Is it $25 when they push total, $25 after Walgreens coupons and discounts, or $25 after all coupons and discounts?
ReplyDeleteHi KC - I knew the $1 Revlon Cosmetic coupon was in the Bright & Beutiful book, but wasn't sure if nail polish was considered a cosmetic. Help me think this through.
ReplyDeleteIn the years past, the $5 RR triggered before coupons. Hopefully it will be the same way this year. Until Sunday it will be only speculation if it does or doesn't.
If you end up with a Catatlina machine that is not working, it might be very hard to convince the manager you were suppose to get one if your out of pocket was less than $25.
Jeri, I wondered the same thing about nail polish and the term "cosmetics". So before I suggested it, I checked the dictionary. From what I found it looks like a match!
ReplyDeletecos·met·ic /kɒzˈmɛtɪk/[koz-met-ik]
–noun 1. a powder, lotion, lipstick, rouge, or other preparation for beautifying the face, skin, hair, nails, etc.
Thanks, KC - I hadn't though of checking a dictionary. I agree, the cosmetic coupon should work for nail polish.
ReplyDeleteJeri, at my store the Revlon nail polish is right next to the cosmetics counter and there is a big sign on it that says FREE, after Register Rewards and coupon!!
ReplyDeleteIt was there Wednesday and I stopped and tried to figure out what the deal was because I hadn't seen it in an ad and hadn't seen a coupon, but now I know the deal!
I wonder if this is a month long deal, or if they just got screwed up and posted the sign early??
It'd be a better deal to buy 4 Pantene products, use 2 B1G1 and 1 $1/2.. You'd get 4 products for $5, or $1.25 each!
