ReplyDeleteYup. 50 cent doubles here! Two other stores in the area do the same, hence why schnucks does it too! Now if only Hyvee would do it! But alas, that would be the tooth fairy and santa clause having tea and crumpets

ReplyDeleteI grew up and lived in Iowa until I got married and still love "The V".
For everyone that hasn't been to a HyVee, their slogan is "A freindly smile in every aisle" and it's true. Everyone speaks to you - from the manager to the guy who has to go clean up the brocken jar on the floor.
Our Schnucks in the Cape Girardeau MO area doubles $.50 and under also - makes for REALLY good trips when there is a 10/$10 sale :)
