I got caught driving into a server thunderstorm last week on the way to Iowa.  I wish I would have had this app on my phone.

NOAA Radar displays up to the minute rain and wind radar data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Full screen mode, landscape support, pinch and pan zooming, favourites list, GPS location, nearest radars list, plus more.

Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
