  1. I have a $5 off $50 coupon from the entertainment book that expires on 12/31. I am trying to work out a scenario. If I do the cheese deal, do I calculate the $50 before or after the instant savings? For instance on the cheese slices, do I count 2.49 towards the $50 or .99?

    1. Hi - I'm not sure what to tell you. I haven't used and Entertainment Book coupon with an Instant Savings deal.

I hope someone has done this type of deal and can let you know, or you might want to stop and talk to someone at the Customer Service counter before you shop.

    2. I used my $5 off coupon today.. all I had was cheese and Miracle whip.. the total was originally over $50 so the cashier let me use it.. Now after he took off the coupon and hit enter, the price went way down.. But the cashier I had, had no problem letting me use mine...

    3. After ringing everything up they have to total the order, that is when the instant savings come off. That total should then be $50 or more in order to be able to use the coupon. Of course, YMMV, some cashiers care more than others. Also, some stores will accept the first coupon that expired, I think, in October simply because the books were barely out. Again, YMMV. Good Luck!

  2. I just came from Schnucks and got the five Jack's pizza (unfortunately before I seen there was a $1/2 coupon). After I bought the five I got a $3 coupon off my next shopping order. Makes for a really good deal!

  3. Thanks, Lisa! I'll have to do some research and see If I can figure out what the details are for the Jack's Pizza Cat.

    2. Thanks, Janet!!!!!!

CJ - I'm still finding the coupon with 62946 zip code. Are you sure you're getting the coupon changed? Since I've had my new computer I have to go through all kinds of rigmarole to accomplish the change. See my post about how I have to do this now.

    3. I couldn't get it using the IL zip either, but 11361 (NY) works.

    5. Jeri - Thanks for the instructions, I finally got it to work. I hate the new format, it makes it so hard to find the one coupon I want and then it moves to the very last page and you have to look through all of them again to print a 2nd coupon. They sure dont make it easy for us :(

    6. You're welcome. I'm not so sure Coupons.com wants to make it easy to change zip codes.

  5. I know this deal was last week, but I didn't have a chance to post the question. I tried to buy the Prairie Farms sour cream - I had the 35 cents off coupon from the Prairie Farm website. My Schnucks (Arsenal and Kingshighway) did not double it, as they said they didn't double internet coupons. 44 cents is still a nice price for sour cream, but certainly 9 cents would have been better. Is this a policy of all Schnucks or just mine? I would be willing to go to a different one that is close (Gravois and Grand, or Hampton Village, or even the one on Lindell) whenever I had internet coupons, if I knew they would take them. Anyone know the answer to this? THanks - and I hope you all had a fantastic holiday!

    1. I don't recall ever having any issues with doubling internet coupons at my Schnucks (mine is the Loughborough Commons location), but this is a good question... Maybe a glitch in their computers that hasn't been brought to Customer Service's attention...? Curious to know anyone else's thoughts are on this.

    2. Hi Lynne - I too shop at the Hill Schnucks. Unless things have changed within the resent past, Inetenet coupons double just like a manufacturer coupon. When it didn't double, the cashier must have just made up an excuse.

The Prairie Farms coupon are many time coded not to double. No where in Schnucks coupon policy does it state they won't double coupon that say, "Do not double." Most cashier just override the system when this happens or when you bring it to their attention.

    3. Prairie Farm coupons state "do not double" on them, so that is why they don't double. It has nothing to do with the fact that it is an internet coupon. The only time they make an exception is during super doubles/triples.

    4. So is there policy that they will NOT double it if it says "do not double" except during super coupon weeks? I could not find anything about "do not double" coupons in their coupon policy anywhere.

  6. Thanks for the input...I was befuddled, as I was relatively sure I had doubled internet coupons there before in the very recent past. I have to admit, I did not look closely enough at the PF to see if it actually said Do Not Double on it. I guess I will just try again, and pay more attention.

    1. At Schnucks it does not matter if a coupon says do not double. They have always pushed it through. I did the PF deal several times last week and never had a cashier question it. I buy extra and freeze them for cooking, their only good for cooking after freezing. I wonder if the cashier possibly worked at Dierberg's previously and does no Schnucks policies on coupons.

    2. I think the Prairie Farms Internet coupons end up being a YMMV Coupon. It seems to really depend on the store. Last week I bought sour cream at 2 different schnucks and neither cashier would push the double thru, so I paid .44 each. however, during Super triples, they do triple.,.. go figure. Doesn't make sense, but it's such a grey area because the coupon states Do Not Double. .

    3. im a schnucks checker and yes we do double coupons when it says do not double. because sshnucks pays the double part , it is their promotion.

    4. The PF coupon didn't automatically double at the self checkout. I had to have them manually enter the doubled amount, which they did every time.

    5. HI All - Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks to the Schnucks checker for giving us the store policy.
