Does anyone know how the P&G deal works? That is, I planned my $35 worth of items to buy. After coupons, it brings it down to $30. Will that still trigger the Catalina or do I need to have $35 after coupons? Thanks! Carrie
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie - I've always had Catalinas trigger before coupons. You shouldn't have to buy more than $35 before coupons.
DeleteThere is, also, a $10 P&G MIR at Schnucks that might DD with the Catalina. It is called, "The Road to Glory Starts at Home," and is available in store or you can print it at: http://pg-roadtoglory.com/pdf?type=offer&location=14621&promotion=19. It says it is not valid with any other offer; but if you are buying $35 worth of P&G products anyway, it might be worth a try. Teresa

DeleteIt does. I received a print out with my receipt and it says $10 off your next shopping trip when you purchase $35 of any P&G products. Then it lists them all and Luvs was included. Luvs are also included in the mail in rebate Teresa mentioned above. I remember they had a deal like this last year where you received a $10 Catalina if you spent over a certain amount and there was also a $10 mail in rebate out at the time. That is $20 off plus any coupons. We should be able to get some pretty cheap products. If anybody has any scenarios please share.
DeleteI do not have this rebate in front of me, so I am not sure about the verbiage. However, P&G has started to take coupons into account for their rebates. You often have to spend so much AFTER all coupons. Once they changed that, I stopped doing their rebates.

Hi KC - If you only bought the P&G deal in a transaction the rebate processor could tell coupons were used, but if you bought other items there would be know way the processor could tell what the coupons were used for. So, although they might state that on the form, I sure don't see how they could deny the rebate (if you purchased other items in the same transaction)
DeleteOn the rebate form, it makes no mention of the purchase requirement being after coupons. Luvs and Pampers are both participating products for the MIR. I found my form on a TP in the paper goods aisle, but customer service at Schnucks also has the forms. Teresa
DeleteVery pleased there is no mention of "after coupons" on the form. Maybe P&G is going back to the old way. In that case, I will start doing their rebates again!
DeleteWould the coupon for $5/5 kraft products in this week's Shop N Save ad work with the instant $4 off 4 at Schnucks? It says"manufacturer coupon" in the ad and I saw nothing store specific limitations?
ReplyDeleteIt should work but you have to buy 5 items and some of the schnucks items are not included on that sns coupon, double check.
DeleteThe $5/5 Kraft coupon is a manufacturers coupon so any store should be reimbursed for it.
DeleteKC mentioned she tried to use it at Dierbergs. It wouldn't scan and her Dierbergs would't accept it. So, I don't know how to answer your question.
Do you know if their is a limit on how many times you can do the $4 off 4 special at Schnucks? I was thinking of getting 4 of the SNS coupons which would be $20 off 20 and matching it with 5 of the Schucks special so then again it would be $20 off 20.

DeleteI went to Schnucks today and there was not a limit on the amount of Kraft deals per transaction. They also took my shop and save coupons. I did confirm at my store with customer service before I shopped. I bought 20 items and used four SNS coupons and all of my instant savings applied. Great deal!

ReplyDeleteMy Schnucks (Wentzville) will not take more than 3 of the same coupon at once so it's impossible for me to use four of the SnS coupons and do the $20 off 20 there. So I went to Walmart and price matched and used 6 of the SnS $5 off coupons and the coupon scanned for them, just another thought if your Schnucks or Dierbergs are not accepting the coupon.
ReplyDeleteI went to Schnucks today and asked about using 4 coupons and was told that the limit of 3 was only for triple coupon promotions. Unfortunately, at the register the gal imposed the limit of 3 and called the store manager for confirmation. She said the gal at the front desk was incorrect. Before I completed check out another worker came over and said that the employee had been informed of the correct policy. Even asking didn't help this time! Even using 3 coupons, I still got a deal... just not the BEST deal.
ReplyDeleteMy Schnucks wouldnt allow the shop and save coupon saying the instant savings was already applied. The computer actually backed off the coupon when the instant savings hit :(
