The Lady Speed Stick rang up at $3.49 and the B1G1 coupon only took off $2.99, so they're 2 for .50, not 2 for free :(
ReplyDeleteHi CJ - Thanks for the pricing info. The coupon does have a $2.99 limit. Usually the limit on B1G1 coupon cover the suggested retail price - I shouldn't be surprised Walgreens charging $0.51 more than that.
DeleteI'm just mad at myself for not seeing it before I bought. I hate paying anything for deodorant since I already have so much of it for free. Plus I was already mad at Wags because I couldnt find any Valentines Peeps and there were 4 employees yucking it up around the registers and none of them offered to go look for them for me, they just said "we must not have any". I cant stand it when employees dont bother to offer to help, especially since I was the only customer in the store last night. Disappointing Wags trip :(
DeleteIs anybody having problems at Walgreens with the B1G1 free Speed Stick coupon? I finally got around to going and the shelf price was $3.29 and the coupon only took off $1.65. When I questioned it the manager said that the coupon only takes off half on a B1G1 free sale when you use a B1G1 free coupon.
DeleteI haven't tried it, but how did the items ring up on your receipt? I know in the past, some stores program B1G1 items to ring up first at regular price and second at $0 and some program them all to ring up half price. If your store does the latter, the coupon is probably just taking off the price of 1 item. I would try another store.

DeleteI found some that were marked down to $1.79 and was able to get both free. It was the "Irish Spring" scent....cashier was very nice about making sure they were both free!
