Be on the look out for this rebate form from Dos Equis. I've seen these at several Shop 'n Saves.
Save up to $25 by mail with the purchase of $50 of fresh meats or seafoods
Save up to $10 my mail with the purchase of $20 of fresh produce.
All purchases must be made on the same date and cash register receipt(s) must be dated between 5/1/09 and 9/2/09. All request must be postmarked not later than 9/17/09 and received by 9/24/09.
No beer purchase required in Missouri, or Al, AR, CT, HI, KY, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OK, UT and WV.
The last time I posted about a beer rebate, quite a few people emailed me with questions. I understand why they did. Beer rebates seem too good to be true. In the states where no beer purchase is required, they are like free money on items you probably are already purchasing.
From my understanding, beer companies offer these rebates to associate themselves with activities most people think of as positive: summer BBQ's, holidays, the Super Bowl, etc. And if there is a beer purchase requirement or not, is because of state law.
The only requirement is that you follow the rebate instructions. In the case of this Dos Equis rebate, all purchases must be made on the same date. Most of the rebates I've seen have not had that restriction.
Thanks, Dos Equis!

I have yet to find one of these. Do you just walk up and down the liquor aisle and look for them, or are they usually on endcaps? Anyone find these at the St. John SNS recently?

Staci - I tend to cruise the beer aisle looking for them. I find them attached to the stack of 12-packs, or cardboard easle displays on top of the stacks of beer. Sometimes in the beer aisle, sometimes in another location that has a big beer dispaly. You might want to ask the manager or Customer Service if they ever have them in their store.
ReplyDeleteI've found some stores tend to have more coupon tearpads or booklets than others. I have no idea why.
I found both types of the Coors Light booklet in the liquor section. I got the IL version at Market Place, while the NBPR one came out of a Florissant SnS. Now I did find some forms with beer displays in the dairy section. Two of the three had expired at the end of last months and the other I had found long ago.
ReplyDeleteOther places to check are 7-Eleven, Mobil One and even the CVS in Alton, IL. One won't usually find either forms or wine tags at grocery stores in St. Louis City.
I never seem to find these in my store - anyone want to pick up spares when they find them and mail them to me please? I would be willing to trade other coupons.

Kas - I hadn't ever looked for beer rebates at the convenience stores. I will now. I shop most of the time in South City and I do find beer rebate forms and a few wine tags.
ReplyDeleteLisa - Keep cruising the beer aisles and displays. The forms seem to show up at my stores close to the expiration dates.
Has anyone found these at SNS in Twin Oaks, Ellisville, or Fenton? I looked at Twin Oaks last night, but no luck
ReplyDeleteTara - Twin Oaks is my store too and I had no luck there. I asked at customer service but they were clueless.

I feel bad I posted this rebate and it seems like no one can find them. I'll keep my eyes open and if I see any I'll pick up a few.
ReplyDeleteEmail me if you would like me to mail you one if I find any.
