  1. I just love that CVS programs their computers early on Saturday. I was able to make my run today to take advantage of the expiring Dove Qs since I won't be shopping tomorrow. I was able to pick up 5 Dove men's deodorant, 3 boxes of Kleenex, Blink tears drops and three Mars candy bars for $.39 OOP. Paid with $7 ECB, used $3 beauty care club b-day Q, 5 Dove $1 Qs, $1 Blink Q, B2G1 Mars Candy Q, $.25/2 Mars candy bars from magic coupon machine, paid $.39 cash and received $7.99 Blink ECB which makes it a $.60 MM for me! =)

  2. Good job, Staci! Which location do you go to? The South County CVS told me they only start the new week's prices at midnight.

  3. Hi CJ - thanks! I go to Olivette. They told me the new prices are usually programmer pretty early on Saturday morning. Have you ever tried scanning something on Saturday to double check? I went at about 4 pm and the shelf tags were up and prices were in. I love being able to cover both ads in one trip.

  4. Staci - The cashier at the SoCo store was sure their prices dont change til midnight but that was a while ago, I should ask again. Thanks for the info about the Olivette store, I may check there this Sat afternoon.

  5. But South County is a fairly new store. The clerk may have just assumed since most stores don't begin new sales until midnight. Just a thought. You might call up and ask to speak to a manager

  6. The 24 hour stores do not start their ads until midnight because they have the time to hang their new ads on the overnight shift...some of the stores that are not 24 hour activate their ads early to make sure their ad tags are hung by sunday morning

  7. Hi All - I think the sales starting on Saturday really depends on the store and maybe even the manager working that day. It's not something all stores do.

  8. Creve Coeur employee told me the prices are good saturday there, but the EBs don't print until Sunday - have not checked the accuracy of this though

  9. I have a $1/2 Honest Tea coupon. Can I combine it with the BOGO coupon?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi Anonymous - You can combine B1G1 coupons and $ off coupons, but the $ off coupons have to match to the items you are paying for. So, no you can't use B1G1 and $1 off 2 becuase you are only paying for one..

Although, you could buy 4 and use (2) B1G1 coupon and (1) $1 off 2 coupon.

  11. My CVS in Highland, IL had a $4.00/1 coupon on the blink tears so mine was a $4.00 Money Maker!!

  12. Interesting, pixie_bit. May be worth testing on a small $ amount item, unless you don't mind doing a return. Guess I should be glad to be near Olivette because the ECBs print on Saturday as well!

I am sure it is a varies by store/manager situation and I didn't think about how store hours might affect things. Olivette is not a 24 hour store, so I am sure it makes sense for them to not wait too late in case they get busy.

Rachel, What an awesome score for you! I didn't even think to check some of the other boxes for peelies.

  13. Hi Rachel - No peelies on the Blink Tears at the store I shop. I'm glad someone found them.

  16. Thanks, jillyq! Were you able take advantage of this deal? I saw it posted on Hip2Save but, didn't know if anyone would find 15 bag of chips at their store.

  17. I couldn't find the the 3 for $1 chips. I had all three kids with me so didn't hunt to hard though. All I could find were the bags for $.99
