  1. Saveway Foods, which is just west of Grand on Broadway, requires a $95 in additional purchases for a free no-named turkey. Honestly, SFM usually has far more deals each week then this dump.

  2. This might be a dumb question, but can you redeem the B1G1 pepsi bottle caps at SNS? I've only used them at gas stations in the past.

  3. Hi Jeri,

Are there any coupons for the ice cream - buy 4 get $4?

    Thanks

  5. Tara - I know my son has used caps for free bottles of 20 oz. at Schnucks before. I would think SNS would take them. But, it would be best to call your store to see what they will do.

Maureen - I'll take a look for ice cream coupons.

Kas - Thanks so much. I'm limping along on this old computer since the coffee fiasco and I'm going crazy. Thanks for the help. It didn't even dawn on me the $1.50 cheese coupon would workd on singles and missed the Maxwell House completely. I'll add them to the post. Thanks so much.

  6. Maureen - I can't find any ice cream insert or printable coupons that match up with the Cat deal. There have been some tearpad and magazine coupons for those brand. Check your coupon stash, you might have some.

  7. Fresh Express Salad Blends - $1.98
    $.55/2 - 10/4SS
    Thursdays price - $1.31

  8. ShopNSave accepts the B1G1 Pepsi Bottle caps. :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. There's also a B2G1 free insert cpn out for the Prairie Farms yogurt which makes it 31c each - a little cheaper and it's not an IP which might make it easier for some cashiers.

  10. Is there a limit on coupons like Dierbergs does...limit of 3 same coupons? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I don't see the 50cent PF sour cream coupon in 11/15 SS. I only see the 50cent french onion or ranch dip. Where am I missing it??

    ReplyDelete
  12. FYI..the Shop N Save I go to has become very strict about Internet coupons- no internet coupons over 50% of cost (Welch's, for example). Not sure if it's areawide, but just wanted to let everyone know. Trish (St. Charles) I go to the Dardenne Prairie SNS

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anonymous 1 - No limit on like coupons at SNS.

As far as I know, the limit on 3 like coupons at Dierbergs refers to doubling coupons .40 and under. I don't think there is a problem with like coupon if it isn't going to be doubled. Ask at customer service at the store you shop.

Anonymouse 2 - Sorry I didn't look at the 11/15/09 SS coupon close enough. It's not for sour cream. I appologize if it caused you an extra hassle.

Trish - SNS vary with that 50% rule. The store I shop dosen't take an extra look. I've tried to note those IPs over 50% with the ** notation, so people who have stores checking every IP will know it might not be accepted. Is there some way I can make note of it better in the match-ups? I want to warn people who won't be able to use them, but also let people who can use them know there avaialble.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jeri - I like the ** notation as my store is super strict too and it's hard to remember not to count on them when you see your post with such a great deal.
Thanks for all you do. I was up with the birds this morning and out of SNS by 5:30 am - that's the time to go, fully stocked, no one else around. Anyway, $55 total down to $3.18! SCORE!

  15. Oops - I used the .50/1 dip coupon on the sour cream - also not paying attention - and it went through...whoops. Also, Butterball turkeys are on sale for .87c a lb - no additional purchase requirement - so use the $2/1 on smartsource.com on the smallest ones you can find to get the best deal - I found 2 @ around $10 each and used them as part of my $50 for the $10 off.

    ReplyDelete
  16. And the holiday coffeemate liquids are $1.66 - $1/1 IP - YMMV on the IP of course.

    ReplyDelete
  17. If practical, opt for the Pepsi 24 oz. bottles 6 pk. over the 12 oz. 12 pk of cans. It's a $.20 saving with an additional four cents extra, today.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hot Hot Hot - Shop N Save has lowered their spending requirement for the $.34 turkey to $50. Just went this am and they told me and it worked.

  19. Guess I got carried away with attempting to make that $75 requirment. Wasn't too happy there was zero jars of sausage gravy.

8 packs of 24 oz. Pepsi

    1 Milk (freebie)
1 Reser 3 lb. Potato salad
    1 Mrs. Smiths Cobbler
    2 ICBNB Cooking & Baking

  20. kas - Thanks for sharing. Soda is a killer on the grocery budget. I don't include soda or wine in my grocery budget. Shh, don't tell anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jeri - If I'm getting $2 off each of those six packs, I'm stocking up. Same with the Ocean Spray.

Now I'm cooking the SnS bird, since only one small turkey will fit in the freezer section. Only found the neck and half a gizzard. The metal retainer had been replaced by a plastic one.

Try buying wine by the case, if possible. Any kitchen I worked in that used wine in prep or to cook with, used the stuff out of boxes, usually from the bar.

  22. I found a great coupon at the South County SNS tonight - get $2 off deli meat or cheese WYB 1 Keebler Town House crackers, expires 11/30/09. They were on the floor in front of the crackers shelves. I got a bunch of freebies today, click on my name for photo and details! I am always amazed how much free stuff I get, when I group it all together for a photo.

    ReplyDelete
  23. kas - I use to drink the stuff in the box. Now, I look for a 90 for $9. A wine rated 90 or above for less than $10.

CJ - Cool idea putting all your freebies together and taking a pic. Thanks for sharing.
