They only auto-triple up to the price of a single item. It's so hard to read the receipt, so I ended up paying way over my projected total as well. :-((

Hi ARmyMomxx2! Thanks for the heads up. At about 5:00, I used $0.50/2 on BC Potatoes, Swiss Miss Cocoa & Yoplait Greek. They all tripled correctly. Either Schnucks has fixed the problem, or it is just certain coupons that aren't tripling correctly.

DeleteI checked out at 11:30 a.m. & all my .50/2 & .45/2 coupons tripled correctly, too.
DeleteI have since gone two more times & had three .50 coupons that doubled but did not triple as they should have since the items I was buying cost more than $1.50. CS kindly took care of the problem. But do check your receipt! The first time I didn't realize it until later that night after I got home, so I took my receipt to CS the next day & they fixed it. Then I went and did my shopping & checked the receipt before leaving the store & found two more .50 that doubled instead of tripled. It pays to check your receipt(s).

ReplyDeleteMy 2nd trip today - I paid $4.24 for $21.64 worth. All of my .50/2 coupons tripled correctly. Somehow I had $3 more in coupons deducted than I should have. I think I gave 2 .50/2 Swiss Miss and 2 .50/2 Betty Crocker coupons but only bought 2 of each instead of 4 like I intended. The extra 2 coupons went through even though I didnt buy enough. Ooops! I saved 74% for both trips (based on sale prices). I may go back for the PF dips and sour cream, I hadnt printed those because I didnt think they'd triple.
ReplyDeleteThere is a Prairie Farm Dip .50 coupon in the 11-11 SS that has no "do not double" written on it as the internet coupons have. But I used the Prairie Farm sour cream .35 IP coupon that the computer gave the bonus .65 to make it free.

ReplyDeleteCarbondale's ad starts on Sunday, and they are doubling to $1 Wednesday - Friday. We usually follow the same promotions. St Louis' ad will be posted online at 7:30 tonight. We will know for sure then.

I've heard SNS isn't planning a $10/$50 any time soon... of course, that could always change. Also, I'm glad to see the super doubles are 3 days instead of just the one day. Maybe won't be so crazy and will give more time to stock shelves back up.... Side note: Asked cashier at Schnuck's if the rumor I'd heard online was true about the super double. She said she "could neither confirm nor deny", so I was pretty hopeful. Glad to see confirmation tonight! : )

DeleteIf we see a $10/$50 at SNS again I would be surprised. I've been working on this week's match ups, and besides a few products, their prices look high to me. Quite a few products are going to be cheaper at Schnucks even without Double Coupons.
