    3. The Schnucks Store in Twin Oats will match SNS $10/$50. You need to clip the yellow notice out of SNS's ad and give it to the cashier when checking out.

They are the only Schnucks Store that will match SNS $10/$50.

Shop 'n Save built a store directly across the street from the Twin Oaks store and I think they one store has matched SNS ever since the store opened.

    4. That is great, thanks so much for the info!

    5. Can you confirm that they pull the $10/$50 before any of the other coupons are taken off? That's how SnS does it - just wanted to make sure Schnucks does the same =)

      Delete
    6. I was wondering that also.

      Delete
    7. I have done the $10/$50 at Twin Oaks numerous times. I just hand them my SnS coupon first and then all my other coupons. Never any problems. I have had very low totals with no problems.

  5. There is nothing more dangerous than a lady on triple coupon day with a binder full of coupons! :)

just a heads up, check your binders for the Campbell's Kettle Style Soups $.75/1 coupon (i think it was from the saving club on coupon.com). Thru 2/24, if you buy 2 of these, you will get a $1 Catalina. Math works out to be this:

    2 x Campbell's Soup @ $2.99 each = $5.98
    - (2) .75/1 IP coupons = $4.50
    = $1.48 OOP + $1 Catalina
    Total Cost $.48 for 2

    Love Schnucks!

Here's some other things I got to add:

Nabisco Angry Bird Cheese Nips - $2
Minute Rice - $1.50 (SS 2/3 $.50 coupon makes this free)

    ReplyDelete
  6. Kikkomon soy sauce - $1.59 - .50 (triple) = .09
    Mott's applesauce pouches - $2.00 - .55 (triple) = .35
    Hungry Jack Hashbrowns - $1.89 (for 2) - .55 (triple) = .24 for 2
    Zataran's - 3/$5 Buy 2 = 3.33 - .50 = 1.83 for 2

      Delete
    5. Thanks Jeri, I will call them before I venture out tonite. If they aren't participating, it's not like I don't have 3 other Schnucks within a 7 minute drive of my house :)

      Delete
    6. Denise - I heard several stores were having problems the first day of the offer and the computer was only doubling coupons. Customers could get the problem fixed at Customer Service. Maybe that is what happened to the commentor on Tues. morning. Since Schnucks knew nothing about Dierbergs tripling coupons on Monday, this was obviously a very quick decision on Schnucks part.

I kind of like that Schnucks across from CVS on Gravois better than the Hampton Village Store. I dont' know why - maybe not as buys when I've been there.

      Have fun shopping tonight!

  58. I have 2 questions:
Jeri or anyone else can chime in.

    1) Why does Schnucks charge sales tax on the total BEFORE coupons are applied? When they do it that way, ppl are paying taxes on their regular price not the cost after cpns & it seems they're collecting more sales taxes than what I actually paid for my items=overcharge in taxes. Other store don't do this(ex: Wag's/SNS). Isn't there a law that addresses this? Besides, they consider coupons as cash/tender & are reimbursed .08 on each. Seems like double dipping to me.

    2) What happens when it's "Dbl/Trip coupon week & they're out of an item & you get a raincheck, can you use the RC later & get the triple coupon price since they didn't have the week the sale was on on?

    1. CA - What state are you in?

      1) In Missouri, by state statute, you are charged tax after coupons. At the Schnucks I shopped at this week I had a $0.00 balance on one of my trips. So that store was calculating tax correctly. Did you have a different experience?

Can someone in IL helping me out on how tax is calculated when you use coupon?

      2) Super Double/Triple coupons are only good for the stated dates. You won't get the extra coupon promotion when you use a raincheck unless they are have another coupon promotion that week.

    2. Jeri - Today at Schnucks my tax was only .25 on $13.26 total before coupons, $5.26 after total. Other trips to Schnucks where my after coupon total has been near zero I've still gotten charged tax on the full total (I paid $3 tax on several free bags of Beggin Strips once). Seems to depend on which Schnucks location I'm at.

    3. CJ- It shouldn't depend on the location. You should contact Corp. Customer Service when this type of thing happens. I wonder if when they have to enter something manually if it makes a difference on how tax is calculated in their system.

    4. Thanks Jeri,
I'm in STL. Yes, the 2 Schnucks I shopped at yday charged sales tax before the coupons were deducted. One of my trips I had $43.xx subtotal before cpns, .89 sales tax, paid $4.56 oop after cpns & taxes.

    5. I don't have that happen at Schnucks but it does happen at the Dierberg's closest to me.If my total is $0 at Schnucks I owe nothing. At Dierberg's recently I bought I bunch of hair color that with cpns should have been free.Yet, I still paid just under $1,it actually showed as tax on the screen and my receipt.

    6. I have no idea why sometime the tax is figured correctly and sometimes not. I wonder if it is the product type (food vs. nonfood) or if when the cashier has to manually enter something. By state statute it tax if figured on all items after coupons.

Anyone being overcharged Tax should contact the corporate offices.

    7. In Illinois we have to pay tax on before coupon totals. When I was getting 3 free crests the last time I think I ended up paying .08 in tax for 3.

    8. Thanks! Do you pay tax on food items also. We do in MO, although it is a smaller amount than we pay on non-food items.

  59. Does anyone know where exactly to find the Quaker Perfect Portions? I have the Schnucks app and it says they're with the cereal and otmeal, but I couldn't find them.

Also the Saute Express. The app says 'N/A' so I didn't know if that meant they didn't have them or what...

    1. Saute Express can be found in Dairy with the butter & margarine.

    2. In my Schnuck's the Quaker Perfect Portions were at an endcap (it's a bag). HTH.

    3. At the Twin Oaks Schnucks they are on the shelf with the other oatmeals and also in a cardboard display in the same aisle.

    4. Kelly - Quaker perfect portions were with the other oatmeal at the store I shop. They are in bag and not a box, canister or cup.

No idea what N/A means on the app. I usually think of that abbreviation to mean not available or not applicable.

  60. At the Brentwood store last night my .75 Kahiki printable rang up for $1.00 and didnt triple. Got that straightened out at customer service and then after I got home I noticed my .50 Friskies coupons only took off .60 instead of tripling to $1.50. The lady at customer service didnt even know they were tripling coupons this week. Really? It was Friday and they'd been doing it since Monday! I always seem to have coupon problems on my last trip of the week :(

    1. CJ- Tell yourself you're not on your last trip for the week, then things will go smoother. :)

Hopefully the lady at Customer Service had been on vacation all week is the reason she didn't know about Super Triples. I'm always amazed at store employees who are clueless about a great deal in their ad. You would think for personal reasons if nothing else you would look at the ad.

    2. Jeri - I'm thinking of making one more trip so I can end on a good note! I'm giving the CS lady the benefit of the doubt that she hasnt been there all week, but still you oughta know about a huge special promo thats going on in your store when you pass right by a big sign for it on your way in!

  61. I need to say a big thank you to everyone but especially Jeri for this weeks shopping. I don't believe I have EVER saved so much money as I have this week. I have been doing this for a long time but this week has just been incredible. Heading out to get a ton more free stuff. Jeri you are the BEST!

  62. I need a price check on these items if anyone has them:
    Johnsonville Breakfast Sausage
    McCormick Seasoning Blends
    Domino Agave Nectar
    Carnation Breakfast
Del Monte Fruit Natural Mango Cup
    Trop 50 OJ 89 oz.
    Domino Sugar 2lb or 4lb

    1. I'm using Schnucks App to check for prices. The only one I can find on it is Carnation Instant Breakfast - $5.89

    2. There's a .50 printable on RedPlum.com for the Delmonte Fruit Natural Mango cup if Schnucks does carry it. I need to make one last trip tonight so will check for that.

    3. I've checked the app and it doesn't list Mango - at least what I could find on it. Sometimes the names of products get abbreviated and you can't always find what you're looking for.

    4. My Schnucks has the mango cups. They were either $1.25 or $1.50. Not sure which, but I know they were free.

  63. I found rebate forms for Quaker Real Medleys oatmeal cups at Schnucks, they were on a cardboard display at the end of the cereal aisle facing the registers.
The .50 Nestle Quik coupon in today's insert makes the small pouches free or $1.50 off larger containers.

    1. Hi CJ - Thanks, I'll look for that rebate.

I'm getting ready to make may last Schnucks price check update. I'll include Nestle. I was very disappointed there weren't some more food coupons in the Sunday inserts.

  64. This WAS INDEED the best week ever for grocery shopping @ Schnucks! I hope they do this at least 4x a year. I don't know about anyone else but I'm totally ZONKED scurrying around Schnucks all weekend long. It was definitely worth it. I did 9 transactions totaling w/tax $217.90. After coupons my OOP was $60.29. That's a 72.4% savings! I'm satisfied.

    1. BTW- I had no luck getting SeaPak Poppers, Minute Rice or Diet Dr.Pepper 2ltrs at either of my stores. Had to get RC's. Didn't get my q's in time for Dole pineapple, Wishbone,or Hot Sauce either. Otherwise if I had my totals would be more, I just would've went even more wild than I already did with those q's in hand. LOL

    2. Hi CA - Great shopping! Even though I've heard of a few store out of stock on some of the items that couponers wanted, I haven't heard of anyone complaining. There were so many great deals.

Overall I think Schnucks did a great job being that this wasn't a planned event for them. I like your idea of four time per year.

    3. I agree Jeri,
Schnucks did an awesome job! I think we should send them some KUDO's remarks on their website to keep up the good work in an effort to encourage them to continue doing it.
