Earn ECB's With CVS's Green Bag Tag

Take your own bag when you shop at CVS and earn ECB's.

Here is how it works:
1. Purchase a Green Bag Tag for 99 cents.
2. Take your own reusable bag to CVS when you shop.
3. Present the tag, bag and your ExtraCare card to the cashier when you checkout.
4. Earn $1 ECB every fourth time you use the tag.
5. Limit one tag use/scan per day per household.

I found the Green Bag Tags on an end aisle display. If you don't see them at your store, ask the cashier.

You can use any reusable bag - even a plastic bag from a previous shopping trip. As long as you don't take one of their plastic bag, you will receive ECB credit when you present the Green Bag Tag and your ExtraCare card to the cashier.

Check out more information HERE.

  1. I got mine today at the Lindbergh/Lemay Ferry store. They were out of Oust so I didnt get to try the ECB system. But I did get 4 Dawn dish soap and Stacy pita chips for free with coupons.

  2. Hi CJ,

I love the Green Bag Tag idea - give me incentive to remember to tag my own bag.

I hope you asked for a raincheck for the Oust. Rainchecks at CVS never expire and you still get your ECB's.

  4. Hi CJ - Good news. When I was putting away my week's shopping items I saw a sticker on the Oust. Get $3 ECB offer valid through 2/14/10.

I have yet to figure out what is weekly and monthy deals at CVS. But this deal is good for more that this week. You have time to get your Oust or a raincheck.

  6. Sorry Kimberly, I clicked on the wrong thing and somehow deleted your comment.

I've heard rumors that Green Bag Tags were going away at the first of the year and they didn't. CVS is still advertising the program on their website.

I haven't heard anything else. What have your heard?
